I can't believe so-called fans of Axl are being so negative about this. Finally the guy is motivated to do something, anything, with MUSIC and all you can do is put him down, make him feel insecure about himself and literally turn your back on his own personal wishes.

This same stuff happened with Chinese Democracy. Nothing Axl does seems to be ok or enough for some fans. No wonder why he wants nothing to do with us :(

agreed. if this was decades, even years ago, people would've been psyched. if this is true, he's gotta be feeling good about his vocals and it'll give him the chance to do something different for a change. if this happens, and i'm not even that into AC/DC, i'll be at the show.

    • This means that some songs could potentially have Slash (from two different eras), Buckethead, Bumblefoot, Robin Finck, Paul Tobias , Richard Fortus, DJ Ashba,  Izzy Stradlin, and possibly Brian May as well as Axl- all on guitar. in the same song. They'd have to dig John Nash up to calculate the royalty breakdown on such a song.

    don't forget gary sunshine!

I told you the exact dates for Las Vegas and also told you about the two shows in Mexico and confirmed that Izzy would be involved at the beginning.  I also explained the management structure and told you about tentative plans for a Chicago concert before flyers from an alderman/ city council representative and announcements from Mancow on 97.1 The Loop.  There is still a  lot of tour information that I gathered but most of it was coming from my contact's memory and she could have had dates mixed up.  She also said that most of the concert arrangements were still being plotted out and not confirmed so much of that info wasn't worth sharing here as I feared many of you die-hards would make travel arrangements and blame me later if they didnt happen! Like the other Eddie opined, I don't think that they are wanting to over-commit themselves if the demand doesn't prove to be as great as the original forecast projected.

hey bud, what was the chicago show? missed your post about this and i live here!

Guns N' Roses have delighted life-long fans with their upcoming reunion after Slash and Axl Rose apparently settled their differences.

But what was behind the guitarist and frontman's bitter bust-up in the first place?

According to Tom Zutaut, who signed the legendary band, the feud began when Slash overdosed on heroin and "died" for eight minutes.

Axl, 53, thought a different Slash took over his body following the overdose.

“Axl genuinely believes the soul of Saul Hudson left his body when Slash OD’d," Tom said on The Most Dangerous Band in The World documentary.

    good.
