Really nobody thinks they have rehearsed or even jammed together.

I'm no musician but given that so many of the songs are done differently to the originals isn't a lack of rehearsal goin to spell out disaster.

I think I remember Izzy joining them in 2012 for some UK dates . In one song, obviously not rehearsed he just looked kinda lost at the end.

Can you imagine a whole set like this.

Axl and Slash must have spent time together already, there's to much riding on them getting into rehearsals nearer the date only to discover they can't get along.

Who Knew Axls middle name was Bruce, kinda looks more like a Bruce than a William.

I think somebody should have shut down the reunion hype befor it really took hold.

I can't help thinking by reading between the lines, that Slash and Duff will only make appearances at Coachella and a tour with them won't follow.

I feel this is why Axl didn't make the Kimmel appearance, he would have had to confirm what was going to take place, if the confirmations were less than everyone expected he would be shooting it in the foot before it even began.

Let's hope so, surly they wouldn't agree to this unless they knew the old chemistry was still there.

One thing I have always wondered, in the video for Yesterday's is it Gilby playing, If so why do the stills show Izzy who had left by the time this was released.

Axl goes on Kimmel and announces new GnR line up, consisting of himself, Richard, Duff, Frank, Dizzy, Kushner, Pitman (still not sure why you need two sets of keys).

He announces that they will be releasing old material / videos from the vault some of which will date back to the original line up.

New line up will show case at Coachella, because of the old material link, Slash, Izzy, Stevie and possibly Matt will guest on Albumn and various tour dates but are not permanent members. Some of them may make an appearance at Coachella to perform a new song and all present on the day will join the encore, this is the closest we get to a reunion.

Everyone is keeping quiet because they all stand to make some money based on royalties. Material has been on hold waiting for Slash to agree his terms . Now they are all talking I see this as being the most likely outcome.

Why do I think Duff rejoined? I think he prefers to be known as a permanent band member, he has had several projects over the years but guns is his rightful place. I think his work ethic will ignite Axl and I'm fairly sure he would have laid down some terms if he is going to get on board with a new line up.

Yes there are flaws in my theory, but I still refuse to believe how ever much I want it that we get a full reunion even at Coachella.

These are the problem songs that Axl needs to work on. I think if he sounds good on these ones then he'll be good on everything.

I have not really paid any attention to the NuGnR line up, least of all watched any performances. It comes as quite a surprise to listen to Axls vocals in these clips, then I noticed they are recordings from two consecutive dates could it be that he had a sore throat or vocal strain.

I've read a lot of bashing of his later performances and just figured you were being mean , are these clips fairly typical of his current vocals?

Not sure about these things, but if it's certain notes he struggles with , it would make sense to change the key or structure of some songs. Then they can be sung within his current vocal range. I'd rather listen to a new take on a song, being sung well, than listen to him struggle. However given that his amazing vocal range/ rasp was what he was known for back in the day, I understand it must really difficult to admit defeat. Hope for his sake he can pull it off.

It would be a complete slap in the face to let reunion/rebranding or what ever, rumours to take such a hold, then Axl walks on to a chat show and announces retirement.

It makes no sense to spend money to build hype and then Axl basically comes on and flicks the finger.

It would be nuts to say this is the last tour befor retiring, who knows this might ignite the passion. I'm sure Axl does not want to be the guy who says 'This is it' and is still performing 10 years later.

My God, what a fucking killer performance!!! Slash, Duff, Adler, were killer. Loved seeing Matt and Steven being pals and Myles sang his ass off. Steven was so happy!!

Never seen this befor, Stevie looks in his element. Wonder if Axl and Izzy regret their decision on this one. I remember being really pissed off at the time, it was such a snub.

Not sure how much of a successful cash grab this is going to shape up to be. Really surprised how quickly the speculations have dropped on social media, Guns stopped trending on my twitter at mid day. maybe I am more of a fan than I thought I was? it's just GnR is so recognisable across the board, I would expect more of a buzz outside the dedicated fan forums.

I would be disappointed not to see Izzy take to the stage for a full reunion. Hope he gets his head around this one, and gets it together. seems to me much of Guns success came from the stage personas and the WTF attitude they need the cool guy to recreate that.

My first post, however I have been lurking for awhile.

If it's true this is amazing news. I haven't seen Guns live since Izzy walked and vowed I never would.

If this goes down without him, I will have to do a rethink.

Would love an original line up, never really felt the love for Matt.
