Seriously though, who gives a fuck about the logo when we just got a major tour announcement?

So Fernando thankfully wasn't kidding when he promised big things for today. Now let's just hope for some European Dates, too.

Could it also be Sebastian Bach? Skid Row is ´80s, but I don't know if he's in Florida and has kids.

Doesn't Lynryd Skynryd originate from Florida? Maybe it's one of them. But then again, they are definitely considered a '70s band, so probably not an option.

Well, this is certainly an interesting development. It would be so damn fitting for GnR to have their first show back together in an LA Club on April Fool's day.

Can we stop the shirt discussion and rather theorize why Axl was in Atlanta? Doesn't seem like the most obvious spot for him to be right now.

I guess Trunk didn't say when Duff will talk to him. Nonetheless, this is definitely good news and I think letting Duff (and likely Slash too) do the lion's share of the press is the right decision. And maybe we'll get something from Axl as well.

The fact that we got basically a confirmation of the lineup and Slash posting a pic of a new guitar leads me to get my hopes for a somewhat big announcement today or tomorrow. Probably way too optimistic, but IMO it's possible.

Certainly not a bad show, but the last few Vegas gigs are quite a bit better.

The explanation might be the Troubadour rumor about them having some sort of event/gig there the day before Vegas.

He's posted a few videos of artists singing/covering songs, but that's about it. Maybe he's just getting bored of Twitter already, or there's some other reason behind it.

I mean, I usually defend axl but there's no defending that. We need an interview.

We need to know who's in the band, how things worked out with duff and slash ESPECIALLY slash considering that was never supposed to happen, we need to know where things go from here touring wise, we need to know if new music is a possibility, we need to know who's managing this, we need to know if/when we can get the tour announcement so we can spend our hard earned cash on tickets, we need to know where things stand with Izzy and Adler, we need to know who exactly is in the band since we don't know who's in the band, pitman included, we need to know if there is something beyond these 6 shows. And if something fell they with someone intended, we need to know why. We need to know if gilby or Matt could ever be involved. We need to know what tickets will cost. 

Too many questions... Too many answers needed. A special event on a lame duck show at the roxy featuring 3 guys who wee there with an Izzy look alike Frank ferrer dizzy and Neil pitman is not a surprise announcement we need. They don't have to go into what they ordered for lunch last week. And yes, some people will NEVER be happy, some will even be dumb enough to call axl a "liar" considering he never intended to get back with the old lineup which was always subject to change. Axl Rose ain't no liar. But some communication would be nice. We as fans, need some clarification regardless of what the hell exactly we are getting.

To be completely honest, it's quite possible that Axl, Slash, Duff and maybe even Izzy will show up on that Adler gig. It would be such a typical GnR-like move that I can definitely see it happening. I wouldn't be shocked if it doesn't happen, though.

Even though it would be mean if Vegas wouldn't turn out to be the first shows, I wouldn't be surprised if they would Play a secret VIP-only Club gig in LA (now most likely at the Whisky).Probably wouldn't be a full two/two-and-a-half-hour show, but more in line with e.g. the two NY Shows in 2010.

That's because there's been absolute silence from anybody involved in the band since early January (except some show announcements but those were few and far between).

As much as I like Adler, that's not true for me. I still consider the UYI lineup as true Guns n' Roses, too. I agree that the Appetite lineup was the best lineup of the band though.

This is kinda off topic and it's been said many times over the past few weeks, but I seriously hope we'll get at least some kind of announcement in March, whether it's the lineup, new music, tour dates etc. Just give us something please.

Well, I've been proven wrong. This is the proof I needed to believe. However, I still think Izzy will show up in Vegas.

Has Downliner ever met Izzy? Talked on the phone before? Does he have his phone number in his phone book? I'm just asking questions, not attacking anyone. Somehow I feel there's a link missing in the whole phone call thing. Some things do not make sense to me.

Downliner said it was when Izzy opened the conversation that he instantly recognised his voice. And he reportedly sent Izzy his phone number with an E-Mail. IIRC that was the first time Downliner has ever talked to Izzy, but they have been in regular E-Mail contact over the past few years.

I think it's possible that we could hear 1 or 2 new songs this year (tacked on another Greatest Hits album). Don't expect a whole new album until 2017 at the very earliest (maybe never).

We obviously have to take this info with a grain of salt, but if that's true, Izzy (and Sorum) are definitely part of the lineup, at least in Vegas and maybe Coachella. That would also either a) confirm that the Twitter account is fake or b) mean that Izzy is lying. Both options wouldn't be nice IMO. If the info is bullshit, then nothing changes, of course.

He has deleted every tweet except the one where he says he's not involved in the April shows. Even the "not writing and recording with GNR" tweet is gone. Does this imply that he has been writing and recording with them/has plans to or did he just delete it by accident?
