Fortus is one of the more talented guitarists the band has had. For me, His first nightrain solo is better than Gilby's. And his chord voicing in Better is great. 

If it were more traditional tour dates thy would've put billboards up though, no?

They're booked through the summer. I mentioned Aerosmith in the other thread. Dates align perfectly. Also "back where it all began", they did open for Aerosmith back in 88 lol

I'm seeing them in July and I can't wait. If you listen to Love Reign O'er Me recently I think he sounds phenomenal regardless of age.

What's throwing me off is that Live Nation tweeted the new timeline video, meaning it's probably tour related. Fernando met with LN, Aerosmith is a live nation artist, they have the dates free, Slash has liked Aerosmith tweets recently, and they're playing festival shows with them already. It makes sense but I have no clue haha 

Maybe Aerosmith will coheadline the NA tour. The respective dates match up perfectly

Agreed. I think it's much more likely they add a co-headliner for the NA tour to sell tickets 

It was around this time last year they announced most of the NA tour openers. Maybe this year it'll be a bigger act to move tix
