Interesting, but I hope it doesnt effect GNR's future.

How much is the average gnr ticket compared to other artists past and present like Taylor swift, Bon jovi, one direction, Kenny chesney?

How do you find this information out?
Go to the website and use the interactive map. I was interested in seeing how the Detroit show was doing too so yesterday I went to the interactive map and literally counted all the unsold seats. It just took me 10 minutes, and there were only 2,547 unsold seats by my count. And ford field can fit 50,000 people.

No, some people are being over dramatic or don't understand the concert business. The tour hasn't even been on sale for a week and NJ, Boston, Chicago, Toronto, San Francisco, and San Diego are all sold out or 99% sold out(like 50 single seats scattered here and there) which will definetly be sold out by concert time.
Philly, Orlando, and Detroit are about 90% sold with 2-3 months left on sale. So I think they'll be sold out by concert time.
houston and New Orleans I would say are about 80-90% sold with more than 3 months left on sale. I think both will sell out too.
Dallas, KC, and Cincinnati I have no idea cause there's no interactive map yet.
pittsburgh on the other hand I would consider the sales to be soft cause it's one of the earlier shows and it looks only a little over a half stadium full so far. But on the bright side even a show that draws 30,000 people would be equal to two sold out arena shows and should be profitable.
a lot of people freak out cause they don't see a show sold out right away. Especially when they compare gnr to artists who clim to have sold out stadiums when they don't realize a lot of time it's bs. A lot of artists say a show is sold out when all they did was lower the capacity of the stadium.
For instance one direction sold 35,513 tickets to the stadium in philly and called it a sell out.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_the_Road_Again_Tour
But the tour before they actually did sell out the stadium twice and put over 50,000 people in there for each show.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_the_Road_Again_Tour
Madonna at ford field drew 30,119 people, they called it a sell out even though you could have fit 20,000 more people in there.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sticky_%26_Sweet_Tour
You can see on this chart other artist have put up to 50,000 people at ford field.

How are the sales in Detroit going?
Theres only 2,500 tickets left. SO it will either be sold out or very close to it.

Does anyone know how this tour is selling so far? There seems to be plenty of seats in NOLA, NJ, Seattle and SF...
I already have floor tickets for NJ and Pit tickers for NOLA.
NJ, Boston, Chicago, and Toronto are sold out.
San Diego, SF, Philly, and Orlando are about 90-95% sold. Should be sold out by the time of the show.

Evanesence, the 1975, or Avenged sevenfold.
-
Maybe im more optimistic than most others but I think they can sell out or at least put in 40,000+ to these venues. Just checking the ticketmaster interactive map of places like Philly, Orlando, Boston, Houston, etc looks to me like they're gonna sell out. I can't even access the NY, Toronto, chicago, Dallas or other big market maps but I assume cause of the big population that theyll sell out or do well. I mean tickets dont officially go on sale to the general public till tomorrow and even than theres 3 months till the tour actually starts to sell more tickets.

What stations in philly and nyc are making an announcements tomorrow?

Judging from some of the comments Id like to see pics of some of the models we have posting on this board.
BTW, how come nobody talks about the pubes Slash calls hair? Or his face that looks like a beat up catchers mit?

Alright- I think some people are offended. Let's quit crying over Axl's t-shirt. Back to GnR talk. Is it Vegas time yet?
Im offended that your offended.

That makes absolutely no sense. OF COURSE people have a right not to be offended. That's the whole point of respect, bud.
yeah cause clearly I'm the only woman in the world
You assume all women feel the same as you. How arrogant.

yeah because demanding respect is so bad for everyone, right?
How self centered of you to think him wearing that shirt is demeaning you. Get over yourself.

A Guns N Roses forum is the last place I'd expect a bunch of SJW's to be fighting. Guess there's no escape from them now

Whats sad about this entire argument is it is complete opinion. No one has any idea what the artist of the shirt meant when he created it. It is completely up to interpretation. If you are seeing that women are disposable i feel bad for you. I just see a drunk bitch who passed out in a garbage can. Grow up guys its a fuckin shirt
They see what they wanna see.

Axl was responsible for writing the 'best' songs like NR & Estranged? That's because he's a greedy egotistical piece of shit who refused to give Slash the credit he deserved.
And you saying you want Axl with Fuckethead over Slash is farcical, if not delusional
Why would Slash get any credit? NR was around as early as 1983 before Slash was ever in the band, in fact at that time while AXL was penning Dont cry and NR, Slash was losing lead guitar auditions to CC Deville for Poison. Same goes for Estranged, all Axl.
And Buckethead>Slash anybody whos anybody knows that.
3 hours ago, Philipm787 said:Oh yeah, so all the guns guys were famous in 1983? Get out of Axls hole you idiot
Listen up you goof, it was Axl's band. There was a Guns n Roses before Slash was let in. That version of GNR with Axl, Izzy, Duff, and Tracii would have blown up too because they already had songs like Dont cry and NR in their back pocket. Slash on the other hand wasnt even good enough for poison. Ill give him the benefit of the doubt though, maybe eventually he would have made it on to WINGER or some band like that.

Izzy was, is and always will be the best member of Guns N' Roses. Great stuff.
I dont know where this is was the heart and soul of GNR BS came from. Look at the writing credits, Axl was responsible for writing the best songs like Estranged, NR, Breakdown, etc. And I like Izzy but Axl is king.
6 hours ago, SSHGUNS said:I love Slash, listen to his last two albums all the time but the last two times that Guns N' Roses came to Europe, they were headlining festivals.
I like Slash with Myles but folk are wanting to See him with Axl and thats the same with Axl, folk want to see him with Slash.
Axl and Slash are the main two for the casual fans as has anyone went or met anyone who dressed as Izzy or Steven at Halloween.
I don't want to see Slash withe Axl, I want to see Axl. Id rather see Axl and Bucket actually.

Nah, Izzy is great, but Slash will always be the main man, exemplified by the fact they can headline Coachella and sell out stadiums upon his presence. Would that happen with Duff or Izzy or Steven or even Axl? No way.
Not really, Slash was being turned down by bands like Poison before Axl was kind enough to let him in his band.
Axl was always GNR, everyone else was just window dressing.

@PITBOSS, Truthfully, I don't have anything concrete to share at the moment or I would put it out there.
Is it cause theres no news to share? Or people have become tight lipped because they will announce something imminently?
-
Think any other dates will be announced tomorrow? They usually break news on Tuesdays.
-
So other than the second Mexico show going on sale Monday does anyone think any other shows will be announced? We're already in the middle of February they cant possibly be announcing just one show a week. Tour starts April, I would think at least April dates would be announced.
Official: Axl will join AC/DC for stadium tour/US dates

Only way Id be ok with it is if Slash and Duff are recording finishing touches on a new album while Axl is touring.
