That's about the only time they can do it. I remember seeing Pearl Jam at Alpine Valley in October of 2000 and it was about 20 degrees out. It was miserable, but a very memorable show. I just hope the rescheduled date is on a weekend. Either way, come Sunday...Go Bears!

Yeah I'm hoping for a Saturday show too.

Yeah, I’m the one who is costing a lot of people money on hotel rooms, etc and can’t even be bothered to make a punctual statement. Good point cheesehead.

I'm not the one making idiotic stupid assumptions and get pissed when they don't make a statement right away. Maybe someone has covid, maybe they had an emergency etc etc etc. Give them time and they will explain what is going on. It's unfortunate for people that spent money on hotels and stuff but better to postpone now rather than when everyone is there the day of. Once again be patient or listen to the song and you might find some.

So you admit he doesn’t have Covid because they would’ve stated that, but you used Covid as an example of an illness he could have…🤦🏻‍♂️

Agreed. Pathetic they haven’t made a statement yet. Should’ve happened before the ticket emails were sent out.

What's pathetic is your attitude towards this.

The show was cancelled because he got sick, not because of the state of his voice (besides the side effect of not being able to sing while sick).  The mickey voice didn't make him get a cold/the flu or whatever he has. There's  nothing much you can do to prevent getting the effects of a virus, even if he was singing perfectly.

Once he gets healthier again, they'll proceed as usual.

This 💯. Thank you. We have some people that like to assume stuff right off the bat.

I said this in the show thread but I've been Team AXL for 20 years and I'm as pro-Axl in anything he does as a person can be....

But his voice is what it is. It's been like this for years and we're constantly telling ourselves it'll get better but it doesn't.

And their efforts towards new music have been to use whatever already has a 20 year old Axl vocal track on it.

But the thing is we know he can still bring it just look at the AC/DC shows.

At this point that's basically what they're doing. Has there been any interviews with band members on the process of releasing these songs? There's probably so many people who don't pay close attention that think these are brand new songs.

Right. Im alright with them releasing these songs that aren't considered new. Im just glad we're getting to hear some kind of new material now.

Yeah fuck following shows live this way, it's such a pain in the ass. Not even a single word about the 30th anniversary of their momunental accomplishments and main works in their discography, the UYIs, all night. What band does that? For most bands that would be the main point of the night, and they would make special preparations for that show. These guys did absolutely nothing and just continue playing the same old set. They really don't give a flying fuck TBH.

Someone tell them its the 30th anniversary they probably don't know lol
