Great, great record. The only thing I find lacking is a little more harmonica. But the rest is just amazing.

Yeah a little bit more harmonica wouldn't have gone a miss.

Bob Dylan with Slipknot as the backing band? Now that would be messed up.

Out of those I'd say John Lennon, but personally I would choose Bob Dylan overall.

I've been listenning to it alot now, and have to say it gets better every time. "Workingman's Blues #2" and "Spirit On The Water" are my favourites.

My cousin likes All American Rejects and Fall Out Boy and stuff like that. After download all he could listen to was Better, over and over again. I think GnR have good potential to become very popular when they release the album, but fans of hip hop and things like that may not be too keen on them.

Do the "Deadstring Brothers" have more songs like "Get up Jake"? This song is fucking awesome!!!

I've only got "Starving Winter Report" and I'd say "Get Up Jake" is one of the better songs on it. "Talkin' Born Blues" is my favourite song on the album though.

you should really check out Drive-By Truckers-they are great songwriters and are great to see live.

I started a topic about this band a while back but it got deleted when the forum got hacked.

Their music is similar to Izzy's solo stuff, Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones. I think some of you would like them.
