Ride On is a great album, I don't listen to it enough. I consider "Highway Zero" to be Dust N Bone Pt II :headbang: Trance Mission is unlike any other Izzy song, kinda hard to describe but it's' one of my favourites as I'm able to play it on guitar

Cool. After JT does his thing I guess Izzy just sends the finished product to Tunecore (or whichever service Izzy uses these days) and they push the music onto all of the digital stores like iTunes, Amazon etc. I've bought every Izzy release digitally aside from those which I was able to buy on CD. No idea about how many copies he sells but he has always had a pretty hardcore following.

I am not fond of the whole itunes thing, but it's Izzy so i buy pre-paid cards to have my dose of Izzy  :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:

By the sound of things, the intention was for it to be a reunion tour to fully live up to the original "not in this lifetime" quote regarding a full line-up reunion, but the situations with Adler & Stradlin didn't let that happen so it became marketed as a line-up of the 3 most consistent original members

Fortus deserves to be up on stage as much as anyone else, for how many years he's spent playing rhythm

Everytime I see someone say Fortus is playing rhythm I have a blast

Just do a 10 song UYI setlist and let Axl go for it. Sure -- he'd probably be taken off the stage in a stretcher for exhaustion but the setlist below would be epic. Quality over quantity I say.

    Right Next Door to Hell

    Perfect Crime

    Garden of Eden

    You Could be Mine

    Don't Damn Me

    Dead Horse

    Breakdown

    Pretty Tied Up

    Locomotive

    COMA

They could play a club show with that setlist ,like the troubadour in April. It would be epic!

How different would AFD have been if Paul Stanley had produced it?

Sometimes I wonder what the album would have sounded like if Stanley had been at the wheel in the studio.

Imagine this: Beta making an announcement tomorrow: "For the 30th anniversary of AFD, it will be remixed and remastered from Paul Stanley . Available exclusively at your local Best Buy on January 1st"

It is kinda interesting that Izzy has been totally silent on the Twitter front, after such an initial burst...

Is he over it? Has he been dealt in on an album? Or is it avacado harvest time?

The avocados require full time dedication,  no time to post on twitter or record a song.

Guess we have to wait until Axl,Slash and Duff offer him more money for the reunion to increase his avocado plantations to pop  up

Except he  can't even sing backup vocals which apparently makes Reese the blueberry pop tart soooo important.... Izzy and Gilby could sing backups...

Like he can do anything properly. The man thinks he's playing rhythm guitar. Rhythm guitar my ass. At least gilby played true rhythm, when you could hear his guitar.I'm not saying he's not talented or anything ,but he's sure as hell not playing rhythm and can't sing backup vocals .

Woah really? For me it's his guitar playing peak, he really came a long way since UYI playing wise and you can really tell by his solos and riffs on the album. It only had 2 songs that didn't click with me right away, and now I prefer it over Appetite as an album. Though the best songs on WOF arent as good as the best songs on appetite, it's more consistent, because song for song simply it doesn't have ANY dumb filler like Anything Goes or Think About You. Quite an achievement on an album with 17 (!) songs. Every song rocks and you can tell Slash really worked hard on every single one.

I really like Think About You and I don't consider it filler. As for WoF, good riffs and solos among songs but I don't find it as cohesive as appetite or even the flow and diversity the illusion albums had.I much prefer the 2010 solo album, but I guess it really comes down to personal preference.
