David Wegner shut up please
This guy is on the Australian X Factor? That says a lot about what kind of show it is..

I just was watching the show on youtube...I don't know if you guys missed this, but the McBob intro was the classic intro- you know, the one off of Live Era.
"You wanted the best, well they didn'tfucking*make it. From Hollywood, please welcome...Guns n' Roses!"Awesome that they brought back the McBob intro. I hope they keep it for the Euro tour!

Maybe Izzy was going to have an Adler situation, guest spot duties on a song or two (Double Talkin' Jive, of course) but he wanted to be paid like he was doing a full show
Either way it's sad that all Izzy cares about is the money.

I flew in from Denmark to see a show on this tour, and Glendale was the lucky winner. The heat outside was insane! Fortunately the temperature inside was very pleasant.
Great show! I really enjoyed it. Axl and the boys gave a killer performance. I think Nightrain, November Rain and Jungle were my favs. I would have loved to hear Don't Cry but Patience was really good too. I wish they would play both though.
The sound was really good for the most part, although the drums sounded very flat to me.
I had a so-so view from around the middle of section E, row four. When I purchased my ticket (shortly after the onsale), no pit tickets were available, so I stupidly purchased that VIP package for 500 bucks. Way too much for that view. I think the big screens and the visuals were fantastic though, and they had pyro and fireworks despite the 'dome' type venue.
Great experience and super thrilled to finally see the big three live on stage together!

Just got pit tickets for next to nothing. Pays to wait it out I guess! I'm bringing my girlfriend into the Pit-how has it been so far? We will probably just hang toward the back. Any suggestions?
Where did you buy em?

I really hope he will be in Glendale tomorrow, but L.A. is more likely..
It would be odd if he shows up in Cincinatti and not his home turf..
-
I wonder how people will respond to Skrillex..

For the first L.A. show there is an insane amount of availability on Ticketmaster now, even when you exclude resale. Entire sections with no seat sold.
So much for "sold out"..

I know many that really like Easy. Its good, although its not nearly my favorite. Its like beating a dead horse but I really do think Jungle is just the best opener. Not always, and not for the life of this band, but for this specific tour it would just fucking murder. The whole point is Slash and Axl and Duff being back and nothing signifies that like the lights going out and Slash starting Jungle. I get goosebumps just typing it. I do think its a tad of a misstep, but I've also maintained I just think if it doesn't open the song loses a bit of power. Its always amazing, but it works best coming out of darkness (so opening the show or the encore). And to me, the other clear opener would be Nightrain. Easy is fine, and its grown on me more as the tour goes on, but I do think not opening with Jungle and Nightrain is disappointing. They just work so well.
This!

I think Jungle is the best opener!

For sale! Pit B ticket for this Sunday's show in New Orleans. I only want $150 for it (around $100 off the face value). Or make me an offer. The only reason I can't go is because I had to postpone my trip to the US (I'm in Europe).
It's an e-ticket purchased directly from Ticketmaster, and I can send it to you immediately. Let me know if you're interested!

Really happy for the fans in South America. Those shows will be insane. And no fucking seats on the floor.
I'm sure they will add extra shows, especially in Brazil and Argentina. There are gaps in the current schedule to support that.
I wonder what the prices will be. I doubt SA fans are able to pay $300 for a pit ticket, or $1800 for a VIP package..

Pit tix seem to be available from Ticketmaster right now: http://www1.ticketmaster.com/event/1B00507EA2453B0C?&fg=sim&f_expose_filters=true&ab=m_efeat2788v0mobile

So incredible to see Steven play with the band again. Let's hope he will join the rest of the tour..

Looking to trade my New Orleans pit ticket to a Los Angeles 18 August pit ticket (preferably Slash side..)
-
Very unlikely. Guns are already playing over two and a half hours which is a pretty long set.
Then again I'd rather have no opener than Skrillex or Wolfmother..

Live Nation is the promoter. Ticketmaster is the same company, they merged a few years back.
I know they are both part of Live Nation Entertainment. But they are two seperate entities. TM just handles the ticketing aspect, and sells tickets for other promoters too.

Man, that 2nd Chicago show looks like there are seats available everywhere
Indeed. I wonder if they are doing any discounts or special promotions to get into that show.
I'm also curious to see what changes the setlist will have. I'm sure a lot of fans will attend both shows.

Ticket Monster is truly the worst and made worse by the fact there aren't competive ways to buy tickets. p.s. astroglide is better ;p
Typically it's the promoter that makes the decision to release seats, downgrade VIP seats to regular seats, offer discounts etc. TM doesn't make those decisions.

My biggest wishes for the NITL setlist:
- Open with Jungle or at least change it up so all shows don't open with Easy
- Drop The Seeker and Better
- Play both Don't Cry and Patience instead of just one of them
Add these to regular rotation:
Perfect Crime
Think about you
Bad Obsession
So fine
Ain't it fun

The Seeker is the obvious weak spot. It makes no sense to play a cover of that nature in the encore if they can't find space for Patience in a set that already has more than enough covers (not to mention the CD tracks Slash and Duff have to play on top of that).
The choice of song, the timing of it, I cant see a single good argument for it.
This. I wish they would play Patience and Don't Cry at every show, and skip The Seeker entirely.

Wow that was an incredible "Don't Cry". I hope soooo much they'll play that song in Copenhagen this June (as much as I like Patience!)
