They are TOTALLY involved!
How anyone here, with a bit of maturity, can think that these guys sit down and let others decide everything about $$$??
It is their work, it is their image, it is their music that's being cashed on and people here are so gullible to think that just because they are artists they don't care about how much money they make? How many of you do not have a clue about what income you have monthly, yearly? How many of you do not know how much your patrimony is?
Unless you are a very irresponsible person, immature or 12 years old, there's no way in hell these guys (professional musicians in their mid-50s) are clueless about the businesses they are involved with!
Completely off subject, but I have no idea how much money I make. My wife gets my paycheck and I get a generous allowance. Keeps us from ever fighting about money and what I choose to spend mine on.

I'm in the fanclub, but I have no idea if I get something or not. It's not really important to me either way...

Guns should hire her... Even she sounds better than Frank... At least we'll have two Melissas and a rival to her...
Was she drumming? I hadn't noticed...

It will be like Vegas all over again.

I'm not sure why we're bickering about any of this. We have Axl, Slash, and Duff on stage together. That's a good thing regardless of whether it's Matt and Gilby or Frank and Richard with them. If we're being honest (and I love Izzy as much as the next person) it wouldn't really matter to most that it's Izzy and Steven either.
As far as ticket sales, who cares? Worst case is it's half empty and much easier in and out for those going. More realistic they will be pretty full and the show will be fine. It's like we as a community have some illness where we can't be happy. Enjoy what we have because you could have what we had before or maybe even nothing.

I'm walking to the stadium from my buddy's place (I think) as he lives pretty close to there.

Duff could do The Majority when Lenny is opening.

Anything different from the Vegas shows will be a surprise to me. This is a rare time I won't mind being wrong.

It's similar to the Aerosmith tour without Steve Perry (except it last 15 years).
Now that would have been interesting...

I am getting seats from a friend of a friend that works for Soldier Field. I don't know where the seats will be and I may not know until the day of the show, but I am told they will be good. We shall see...I'm the skeptical type.
Found out today my seats are in 207 row 3. Club level there is nice, so these should be good enough for me.

That just gives me an excuse to not worry about getting there too early.

I'm happy there are 2 Chicago shows as I will be going to 2 more shows. I do not care if either sells out; in fact I hope they don't for ease of getting in and out's sake.

Anything downtown should be nice. Probably not a good idea to go anywhere south of the McCormick Place.

Chicago's second show is for now looking like a very bad idea
Depends on how you look at it. It's great for fans that can go to 2 shows. It's bad for scalpers for either show. The band doesn't care; the risk is for the promoter. I suspect they will sell a lot of those tickets still. Great seats available.

I'll be at both...let me know if you go.

It is a continuation, but having Slash and Duff back make it reunion like. It's the best of both worlds for most fans.

The first 6 digits of your citi card is the code. Pray is how you get GA at this point.

Check this out; my wife was back on the east coast, so they played Coma at like 2 or 2:30am her time. I quickly updated my facebook with "C O M A!!!!!!!!!!!!" after it was over and I got a text that said "You're not dead are you? Please don't die!"
@buzzsaw was right next to me, but I think he would have just looked down and said "He heard Coma live, he had a good life" if I would have had an actual heart attack lolActually I would have said 3 - .5 but nobody would have gotten it.

Russ and I used to get into it all the time about Robin. ALL THE TIME. Hate might be a strong word, but we definitely didn't get along. Now he's probably my best friend on the forums and we've both helped each other out in real life way more than online. People change over time. Situations change over time. I was probably one of the most negative posters out there for a long time. I'm not exactly Mr. Positivity now, but I see things through a different lens than I used to. Fluid is a good word to describe the GnR world; yet the more things change, the more they stay the same too. It's really hard to not understand why someone can feel the way they do about any given situation.
That said though (no matter what Russ thinks), Robin still sucked at playing the classics though...at least until 2006ish.
