When was the last time Izzy said anything? I'm guessing he went silent for a reason.

Hey guys, long time lurker first time poster. I upgraded to some lower level and have my original pair in section 226 on the slash side of the stage listed on eBay item 162017292391, would be happy to hand deliver in Vegas and walk in with you to prove authenticity. They were $250 each plus fees face, I set opening ebay bid at $400 for the pair (under face)
I think 226 is actually going to be better than the floor/lower level seats on the back half of the arena. Certainly closer if you're in the first 5 rows or so.

I have 226 row D for Friday. I thought about buying the MGM deal, but I think those seats are actually going to be pretty good. I guess we'll see if I gambled right or not...

I just read every interview he's given for the last decade and it's gotta be who I think it is. I'm almost positive of it. Again, it all adds up.
Maybe one of these guys (don't care enough to see who's in the HoF, but cared enough to look up a list of celebrity Met fans.

I think he already has 1 he's trying to sell.

They won't? I was just about to call them, but I thought I could cancel for a 100% refund until like the week of? I thought cancelling the hotel would be the easiest part of this.
Well, historically if you prepay through them for one of their deals, they do not let you cancel. I don't know exactly what you booked, so they may. Call them and find out.

OK. So we have tickets for the first night for $566.30 (283.15 each).
We have tickets for the second night for $457.10 ($228.55 each).
Then according to my credit card statements, I have a charge from Expedia for the hotel at $300 ($150 each) and $637.36 for the flight ($319 each)
Altogether that comes out to a little under $1000 ($980) for each of us, and a total of $1,960.76 for our entire trip for the two of us. And without flights it would be $1323 TOTAL for the trip.
I am currently able to book a room with GA or seat tickets for $917.19 total according to the hotel. I don't know how to break down those charges.
So how would that affect my overall funds, and I guess the big question is am I spending the same amount or losing ANY money (I can't imagine I'll save any money)?
Again, so sorry to be so insanely annoying. This is like a fucking math word problem.
Expedia isn't going to let you cancel.

Nothing can ruin vegas. Certainly not a club gig that maybe 500 people can get into.

I can't choose based on the options given. I saw gnr in Chicago in 92 and Vegas at one of the residencies. Saw slash several times. Enjoyed all of them for what they were.
If they are close, I'm going for sure. If I have to travel, it's going to be Chicago, vegas, or something like that where I have other things I can do. Axl burned me once, so I choose more wisely now.

The biggest issue with debit cards, they often put a hold on funds in your account and don't release them immediately in some cases when you check out or return the car.
We'll that and identity theft exposure.

I got 4 nights in Vegas for free, but I'm a bit of a degenerate gambler.

I hate sharing rooms at all. I'm sharing one on this trip with my best friend from high school. I did almost have another friend sleeping on the floor, but he managed to get a free room. I wouldn't share a room with anyone I didn't know personally regardless of how long they've been here or anywhere else.

Someone would be disappointed if it was McCartney? I'd take McCartney in a heartbeat if it wasn't GnR and honestly I might prefer it to GnR since I'll see them in Vegas.

Bally's is relatively close and usually reasonably priced.

I'll explain it for you: attention whore.

I signed up for tix, but it's unlikely I will go. It was more just an option if I was losing my ass gambling already.

I told my wife when I met her 18 years ago if Slash and Axl ever got back together, I was going to the first show in case there wasn't a second show. I didn't care where it was, I was going. The fact that it's in Vegas is just a bonus.
Having said that, I don't care if it's not the first actual show and they do a warm up club gig in LA that I could never get to anyway. I'll be there for the first real show. With my best friend. And with several people from various forums that I have gotten to know over the years.

I only got 4 of 6 so far. I wouldn't worry (yet).

I love Slash as much as anybody, but I can't see him doing better than what TWAT already is. It will be good, probably really good. I think art is what it is and when you start messing with it, it doesn't usually become better. CD could have been a really good album.
-
I've been to a lot of concerts. I take a few pictures at almost all of them. These 2 will be no different.

Hey, I started following you on twitter, a follow back would be great, thats another thing that I hardly use twitter lol.
Is this a new generation "So...how you doin?" thing?

I am speechless at this thread. Are we really to the point that we'll listen to anybody?
-
Slash and Axl on stage together again with me there to see it. Somewhere. Anywhere.

Can we set gambling lines for 2016?
+200 original guns (defined as slash duff Axl) tour dates, possible festival gigs
+300 CD 2 release
+500 CD 2 and scattered OG GNR dates
+1000 original guns summer tour, slash/duff/Axl single
I would throw $100 on each of these and fully expect to come out ahead.

Sadly the answer is play a progressive slot machine. However that's also the answer to how do I lose $1000 with the least chance of coming out ahead.
