Why I think NO new music is coming:

    1.   Axl Rose has no interest in releasing any new music under the Guns N' Roses name, or else we would have heard at least one new song in the last decade.

True man, this is desrespectful for fans though. Not even one new song, or even "new" song on gigs like bad obsession. Their fans are way too much dedicated, they are not deserve it

For me, the writing is on the wall if we read between the lines, similar to how the reunion happened. Evidence?

    1) A 6 month break. I know NITL ran for a long time, but a 6 month break is very excessive.

    2) Axl has expressed interest in releasing new music and even played some for Slash/Duff.

    3) No SMKC. Myles just released a solo album and is doing alter bridge in 2019. There is no time to do a SMKC album. Slash won't release an album and not tour, promote it.

    4) The silence - All Slash fans will know that if he was doing SMKC, he would be excited and sharing various things on social media. But he has a gag order for GNR. Even Joe Perry and Nikki knew not to press further.

    5) Walking Papers have a show in Seattle coming up, no mention of Duff being there.

All the signs are there... For now at least 😀

u are funny dude:rofl-lol: no new music ever I guess

This is very excellent, I love envisioning a mish mash of eras of both Slash and Axl without the visual from the show and Axl sounds strong as fuck, but of course it's "only Jungle" I know, still.. I also love Slash's "extras"...

    Fucking awesome!

yuup, sounds like one of the best Jungle ever. Just wow. But why that mudafucka cant use that technique in YCBM. Fuck you Axl!

Cant translate the article on my phone but basically it says GnR will play Poland in 2018 at Silesian Stadium, July 9.

I mean on one hand, there's still a shitton of money to be had with another Euro and Asia tour. These guys are gonna milk every corner of the world with the same set until people stop attending.

Can't imagine Slash and Duff being okay with touring straight for 2+ years though, without some sort of creative or release happening. Also, does this mean no AC/DC next year?

yup, this is today news in Poland. Its says that the gig is confimed. Looks very realistic

I've said this before; would You Could Be Mine benefit from being played later in their set? Perhaps as a part of the encore?

whats the difference? Sounds shitty anyway

I left the stadium with a bittersweet taste. The show itself is great, but in a 3 hours show I'd like to have a few surprises. Once you know exactly what's next, it gets a little boring.

I will never get why they play so many covers and I think it's fucking ridiculous that they become staples. Sure I was curious to hear Black Hole Sun but only because I'm a Cornell fan. I honestly hate Wichita Lineman and the Wish You Were Here/Layla jam. Thank God they didn't play neither The Seeker nor I Feel Good.

The extended versions of KOHD and RQ are also a drag. They've been playing them the exact way for too much long.

The rain didn't help. We were freezing so a little more of rocker stuff would've been welcome. I missed a song like OTGM.

Axl sounds great but I don't think he sounded that different from RIR. Any flaw he might had it was muffled between the loudness of the band and the crowd noise. He sure had more control and it was notorious in songs like Better and in the end of Coma.

I also don't like what Slash is doing with his solos. I'd like him to stick more to the studio versions. He improvises a lot and mostly I don't like that much what I hear. Overall he's a beast and puts on a hell of a performance.

Ok I think that would be all my complaints. Maybe it sounds like I had an awful time (hah!) but I actually enjoyed the show. It's just I expect more from them and I'm sure they can bring it. Now they are clearly on autopilot.

nice post, mostly agree. And yes, solo in YCBM `SHOULD be just like studio version. IMHO improvisation is the weakest side of Slash (and vibratto :))
