I saw a small news piece on Euronews earlier today covering the gig. They showed the rock or bust video and interviewed some fans who were full of praise for axl. 

The overall snippet was indeed very positive. Has anyone else seen it? 

Anything but those fedoras. Instead just wear a bandana and a baseball cap backwards like in the old days or get a better haircut. It's not necessary he have long hair.

Nothing makes sense in the GN'R world. Just enjoy it for what it is at the end of the day. Axl's been riding on the success of UYI and AFD and has released nothing significant since then, tried to go techno and brought DJ ashba to replace slash *facepalm* so finally that him and slash are back, for however long it may be, it's better to just be happy with whatever is made available, hopefully that is some new material.

I do like human being and down on the farm a lot. It's a fun listen definitely.

I was 15 at the time when this was aired and was super excited GN'R were back; i watched and re-watched the entire show many times and also happened to  show the video (thanks kazaa) to my elder brother who asked two things, where's slash? What happened to axl's hair? But he did find Madagascar interesting. 

Now though, I haven't watched this performance in years. I don't like it one bit, the 2006 era guns sounded so good simply because axl was out to prove a point. Post that, I just stopped caring about gn'r and followed slash and Duff with their careers. 

Thank heavens, they set aside their differences, ashba and bumblebee or whatever plus that bassist left the band and GN'R has slash and Duff back

With everybody complaining about slash murdering the one song on CD, why don't you get ashba and finck back so they can murder every other guns song there is? 

Seriously grow up and enjoy this time. Bowie's gone, Hendrix is gone, Jim Morrison is gone. All that's left are old songs and performances. So make the most of slash and axl together rather than dissect each and every random aspect of GN'R.

Axl doesn't even run around like he used to, it's just that the weight he has put on has really confined him but he is definitely back. He looks the best since '06 and he is definitely going to improve once that foot heals. 

Furthermore, getting rid of that ashbacrapswag he wore is also a very big welcome.

At least GN'R is touring and slash Duff and axl are alive and well. Never thought I'd see the day. May as well enjoy it to the fullest irrespective of rasp or clean or mid range having issues. What's clear is the man is giving it his all and he cares enough about the fans to push himself to the limit.

For a 54 year old he sounds amazing. I'm just living these moments which I know will pass by and I'll end up wishing I could relive these GN'R moments .. It's the same with '06 axl when he was at the top of his game and all of a sudden it's 10 Years ago
