I think AL and WOF are two huge step downs from Slash 2010 album. Boring, bland and predictable songs for the most part. Although I like Wicked Stone, BTSS and Bad Rain.

I couldn't agree more. I really don't want GNR to play Anastasia.

The bagpipes are really hard to learn. It takes a long time and generally has to start in childhood.

I hope he's learned. Nobody expected him to sound this good; and even though he's 54 and a bit chunky and was considered a lost cause by the public, he's winning back the global spotlight again. He's probably the biggest rockstar in the world right now. The chances of that happening were slim. Very slim.

The lukewarm reaction to the (pretty rubbish) new single by the Stone Roses should be a warning about how new material should be approached carefully.

You all seem to be forgetting that he was singing after he broke his foot at the Troubadour.

I remember Alice Cooper once saying years ago that Axl Rose was a pretty good golfer. No joke.
