Well there was already a topic made about this earlier. So this news has been posted and the discussion about it is going on in another thread. You didn't know that though, don't sweat it. Because there is already a thread about this, this one will be locked, that's what the other person meant
Understood. Please accept my apology.

Frankly, when it comes to this topic I don't give a damn, but I figured some people here might want to check this out:

Axl is superhuman on WTTJ in San Diego. I hope it makes the DVD. Absolutely spectacular.

I think Melissa is a great addition to the lineup. Her background vocals are incredible (especially on CD, LALD, and Better). She sounds great with Axl and her vocals are pleasing to hear, unlike Pitman.
Not it to mention the fact that she's very easy on the eyes. I welcome her for as long as she can stay!
Yep!

I think she's perfect for the band. Kickass voice.

Duff is fucking a monster on the bass. I play drums and guitar, and I'd love to jam with him. I got to attend a Velvet Revolver rehearsal at Mates in North Hollywood years ago, and it was pretty awesome. I worked in L.A. for one of the music gear companies that endorsed them, and McBob was kind enough to invite me down to a rehearsal. When I walked in, VR was working on Aerosmith's version of Train Kept a Rollin. It was cool to see that bands big or small go thru the same motions learning a tune, as in "Hey, how does that one part go?" When they finished that tune, Slash nodded to me, walked over, shook my hand and said hi. Very cool guy.
Anyway, the band (minus Scott) was there, their techs, and me sitting on a leather couch watching them play about 5 feet from the stage. I was their sole audience. Kinda wild. LOL Later on, 2 guys from Duesenberg guitars came down and Slash checked out a guitar they made for him.
Back to Duff, I was sitting right in front of him and let me tell you, the way that guy plays is a drummer's wet dream, and his tone is SICK. I was smiling the whole time I was there. All the guys in VR were very cool to shoot the shit with.
Funniest thing about that day was Matt going "Sooo, where's our singer?" LOL

I think of it more as Axl's solo record, but I dig it.

I'm loving these shows. I hope it's OK to say this, since some people think I'm a plant for starting a thread on how much I liked listening to the Chinese Democracy for the first time in 2016. LOL

Oh.for.fuck's.sake. I joined mygnrforum in 2016 because GnR got back together in 2016. Is that so hard to believe? After Slash and Duff left, I lost interest. Why did I finally listen to Chinese Democracy album? Because I checked out some live NuGuns stuff on YouTube (YES IN 2016) and wondered what the album sounded like.
I don't know how someone equates the year I joined this forum with my opinion of a GnR album. Sheesh.

I can't help but think the original post is fake and the intention behind this thread is just to get a reaction. A thread intended to get a cheap pop for CD. I have no way of proving it and sure maybe my post right now is a cuntish post but I'd be willing to bet the original poster has listend to CD hundreds of times and just wants to remind everyone how "great" the CD era was.
Let's be honest I'm not the only one thinking this. Someone who takes the time to join a GnR forum in 2016 claims they are just listening to CD now for the first time? Sorry not buying it.I can't help what you believe or don't believe. I'm not lying.

Goddammit! Axl gets better with every gig. Someone in another thread said that he has AC/DC DNA. I agree, and now Axl is OWNING that music up there on the stage. He's AXL FUCKING ROSE again.
He really was born for this gig. Period.
-
I think AC/DC will make a record with Axl. He's killing it live, and no other vocalist could top what he's doing with their music. I hope they do it.

Guns N' Roses, isn't that what grandpa listens to?

This whole thing blows my mind. I'm 54 with 6 grandkids and AC/DC has Axl singng. Never in my wildest dreams did I think of that combination. Pretty damn awesome that my favorite band from my high school years would have my favorite singer belting out their tunes. LIFE IS GOOD.
