Would be nice if they release these as official singles and play them instead of Layla for example. Could you imagine, first new songs since reunion would be made by Ashba?

Bucket and Bumble would laugh their asses off, if Slash even remotely tried to play that mighty solo in Shackler!
Also Frank would play on every track.

To be honest: I am grateful that GNR are playing Wichita Lineman. Never heard of this song before but I am neither from the US or a country fan. I listened to the original version couple of days ago and I really love it! Great song! I think they started playing it because at the time Glen Campbell , the original singer, died. It is a great American tune!
And I think Axl really showed balls singing this song because he knows exactly that his audience is mostly there for the usual 5 GNR hits.
Which annoys me a bit. I wish Hardrock and GNR fans would be less conservative and and allow new Things to happen. It is so incredibly boring to ALWAYS Play the same songs..
I used to always complain 'bout covers, however few months ago I checked Wichita and since then it has been one of the highlights for me. I'm from Finland so I had no idea who is Glen Campbell and never heard the original version before but it suits perfectly for Axl.

If you'd take Riad, Scraped and If The World over Slither, Messages and Serial Killer then I can only assume you are mentally incapacitated.
IMO Riad and ITW are my favourite cuts from CD. I'm not trolling but I can honestly say it's actually the only GNR album without fillers, AFD and Illusion both have some bland rockers like Anything Goes or Dust N' Bones to mention few.

You've just said some horrible things.

Not many people agree with me but sometimes I really like his clean voice. Of course I'd like to hear him using rasp like before but shit, I became hardcore-fan after I saw they performing Rocket Queen at RIR 2001. I knew Axl isn't sounding like he's supposed to and I knew it wasn't original line-up but I really loved it.

It's clear that original lineup (or Matt) is what everybody wants but Steven couldn't do all songs and Matt isn't coming back so I'd like to bring Brain. I didn't choose Izzy 'cause I think this "hybridGuns" -thing is better than full reunion and playing whole Appetite + UYI-rockers every night. Nothing against Frank but he isn't the right drummer for GNR.

As a younger fan I thought that having Estranged in the setlist would be a dream. I didn't expect that in few years Slash and Duff would be back in the band (and Pitman out), Axl would sing in AC/DC and record a new album with 'em and finally even witnessing they founding an airline before getting new GNR material.

The '93 - '97 period sounds freakishly like the '03-'06 period, just a pure black void of nothing.
It's a shame they couldn't show up in Rio -04.

I was 4 yo when it happened so obviously my opinions have been born later. Yeah, Axl's voice wasn't what it used to be and there was some strange looking people on stage but I still really like that lineup and would pay to see 'em again. So, maybe it wasn't good comeback for GNR but fantastic times for Axl & friends.

Then about 20 tweets later, she retweeted someone who said "I can't wait to hear your future contributions to GnR" or something like that.... There's a reason she's in this band besides being one sexy assed blue haired bitch...
She retweets pretty much everything about her.

I knew all the hits but I wasn't really a fan. Then I somehow ended up watching this and it changed my life. I knew their story so I also knew that this has nothing to do with old Guns. Axl sounds like shit but for some reason I liked it. After that I went to listen RQ and other songs.

1.17 ->Not really a scream but still nice sound by Axl. Actually whole Sail Away Sweet Sister is nice.
-
I think it's very nice song, especially I like live version. But chorus is just dull, you're waiting for nice and catchy chorus but it never comes.
-
I have some friends who listen good music but for some reason don't like GNR or they are like: "Welcome to the Jungle is their only good song, rest of songs are shit." (never even heard other songs) I'd like to show them some songs from CD 'cause it has nothing to do with old Guns. But CD is so different and "strange" so I'm sure my friends would hate it so I don't even try.

Have you even talked to Matt about "reunion"?
Was Dave Kushner really considered to play guitar?

They should try The Garden, I think Axl could do it without Mickey. Also I'd like to hear Out Ta Get Me but it's probably too hard to sing, I don't know.

Brain might be the best drummer ever played in Guns. Also these remixes are representing different kind of music that typical GnR-fan probably doesn't like.
