They're still selling "Official Platinum Seats". My understanding is both Ticketmaster and the artist/management benefit from this form of scalping.

I am still doubtful about the 2nd date based on their already tight schedule, but you never know.

This will be my first time attending a concert at the Rogers Centre. Can anyone comment on their previous experiences in GA PIT? Does it make sense to get their early or the view is good from pretty much anywhere? Do they tend to jam a lot of people into the pit? Any other tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It would be amazing if we get to see both AC/DC and GN'R in TO!

I see some are still hoping for the 2nd date, but I very much doubt it. Their touring schedule is already very tight, with only a few days between the shows:

Jul 14 - Philly

Jul 16 - Toronto

Jul 19 - Foxboro

Any idea if GA PIT section / seat numbers on the tickets mean anything or is it just for their internal use?.. GA1, GA2, etc.?

I bit the bullet and picked up a couple of overpriced "Platinum" GA PIT 1 tickets. Waited for 20-some years to see those mofos!

I would not get my hopes up about them adding a second date in Toronto, but do check the Ticketmaster GN'R page from time to time. They are releasing tickets here and there, I managed to grab a pair of B7 floors for my friends on Saturday.
