I saw VR last night at Hammersmith and they came on 45 minutes late..

So I didn't see it all as I had to get last train.

they probably werent late, for eg, went i went to blink, they came on 30 mins after the support act, because, they have to set up

And no Velvet Revolver were late, on the way out I stole the itinerary saying they'd be on at 8.45

Hammersmith is alot like Brixton Academy in terms of size.

Your seats won't be shit, and plus you get binoculars if you want.

The Les Paul LOOKS the nicest

The SG is the easiest to play

The Dean Sounds the nicest

Try and get an Epi Les Paul. but get quite thin strings (about 9 gauge). And it will be the best.

I have an Epiphone Les Paul, so I might have a slightly different sound, as it's using different wood

I had a Cherry Sunburst with Alnico's it sounded f'n awesome, sounded definately like Slash. It was as if I was borrowing his guitar......

However, that was on my 100 Watt Marshall amp, when I plugged it into my 30 watt Marshall , for somereason it messed up the amp and the blew the speaker, Whe nI took it in, it was something about the pickups were reacting with teh speaker and giving too much feedback, so word of advice, don't try it on diddy amps.

I no longer have that Les Paul, otherwise I'd sell you the pickups. I now have a Tobacco Sunburst (Lighter shade than November Rain video) but with normal Gibson humbuckers

I definately recommend them.

If you want to lie to yourself and think it is GNR, then go right ahead. But be prepared for a day of disapointment.

The thing with these rumours is that one day one of them might be right! The problem is that no one (in their right mind) will believe the rumour - I'm not even sure I'd believe it when it actually happened.

There is a 99% chance that the performance won't be GnR. And the fact that Brain is on tour with Tom Waits in Amsterdam at the moment suggests to me that it won't be GnR.

But we'll have to wait and see what happens but I very much doubt this is GnR!
