Lol, at Chicago 1, which would have had Patience instead of Don't Cry if they always alternated, we were bummed they didn't play Patience.

Went to the July 1 Chicago show with a group of people including a 24-year old guy who grew up listening to AFD and UYI, but knew nothing about NuGuns and was not familiar with any CD songs.  His take on Fortus?  "I was kind of digging his style."  

I agree that Fortus probably doesn't match Slash's style as well as Izzy did.  But Fortus seems to be true to his own style.  I went in thinking that the Pink Floyd WYWH duet would be meh, but ended up truly enjoying it.  Fine by me if the two of them do more work like that.  Slash is still by far the star lead guitar god, with a dominating stage presence.

Call Ticketmaster and give it a try.  I exchanged mine last Friday for this Friday's show, no problem.
