Well, we don't know if he was or wasn't. It's a bit sad to see people like Jimmy Webb invited and there, but not Axl :/  maybe Axl declined to go.

Makes me think of the Opie interview from tonight's show thread. They're "business partners of a corporation" apparently. :(

    Well, shit.

  2. About that b-day pic, we shouldn't judged based on one single photo.

At least that's my theory because otherwise it would make me sad thinking about the real dynamics of GNR behind the scenes...and no, it isn't high school, you don't have to be friends with everybody but still, it makes you wonder.

We are trying to index the thread and that means, we have to browse the pages and write down which topics are discussed on each page.

I count you in but I'm not sure if you know what indexation means ?

Anyway, it is most likely that one of us we'll start the job first and once we have a prototype, the other people will just have to follow it. So don't worry, when we have the idea cooked and working, we will then ask for extra help :)

    Got you.

I just had a major flashback to my economics classes back in college. God I hated them so much.

Total First World Problem, but I'm so bummed my husband has his company picnic tomorrow night so I'm going to miss sitting at home and watching it on periscope. :( I just feel like we're in for some surprises tomorrow night and there's something fun about witnessing it "live".

Right. This talk about possible maybe yes/ maybe not surprises tomorrow because is Slash's birthday is making me anxious. Like I was planning going out and now I'm like fuck you real life, hello periscope. FML:max:

What time does the show start tomorrow?

I can see the topics: Angus in Wonderland - Izzy and the Chamber of Secrets - The Lord of Lame Jokes - Fifty Shades of Ginger - The Strange Case of Dr.Rose and Mr.Hudson - Dexter and Dijon in Boots - The Cat Whisperer - Fashion Police: Axl edition - "Ass" you like it

Maybe we can publish it as a book.

That made me laugh so much:lol:

I would like to help and be useful but I haven't been here long enough and I'm still a bit lost. Topics like Sasha, Dexter...all those weirdos around Axl, I don't know much about it.

If you still think I can be useful in some way, let me know. I'm in.

When Izzy ever gets punch in the face?

You can listening Their story about tht on 2006 Eddie Trunk interview/radio

Vince Neil punch Izzy because he was an asshole to his wife. It was during the VMA's '89 and it was well deserved.

    Thanks for the info:hug:

That hair, those lips, those cheekbones... Young Baz was such a stunningly beautiful creature. Like an angel or something. Also I just found a way to make this relevant to GnR lol: Remember that story Baz told about Izzy's brother ("Joe" according to Axl) coming up to him and going "Look at you, you're such a pretty boy, dude!"? And then Baz hit him.

I mean obviously Izzy's brother was being a douche, but he wasn't wrong  You can't get much more pretty boy-ish than Baz was. The only musician from back then who could have fought him for that title was Axl lol.

LMAO! Those Isbell bros always getting punch in the face:bitchfight::lol:

Where can I read more about it?

Yes Baz was a pretty boy:wub: with good hair too.

    Quick Review

The show was really great overall.  Lenny Kravitz really did a good set despite a few technical hiccups.

Axl was on point for most of the show and his quality of voice wasn't really a big issue.

Slash played great, and I was impressed with fortus as well.

Very few criticisms about the show itself, the only thing I noticed was that although Axl still performs well he looks frail and weathered these days.

It was a really awesome show, but I get the impression that the main glue that holds this tour together weighs heavily on leaning on the past rather then a continuation of the GnR story.

Right, there's a lot of nostalgia involved and nothing new, yet.

No one can be happy anymore. Whine whine, complain.

I see nothing wrong with Melissa. But I guess I'm the only one who likes here.

I'm just glad I got to see my Favorite band. No complaining, whining, crying or bitchin here.

I like Melissa but I can't believe she's in her mid-thirties. She looks so young.

30 years I would have been like "WTF is she doing there" but not right now, the band is different and imho she fits right in.

That someone being Axl's lapdog Doug Goldstein with Axl fully complicit. I don't believe for a minute that all this would have been orchestrated without Axl's tacit approval.

Those interviews basically destroy the notion that Izzy quit because he couldn't handle the stadium touring, etc. Axl forced his hand and Izzy said fuck off and quit. And the same shit is being repeated since he's not being allowed back into the partnership.

Agreed. At this point, as much as I would love and wish to see him on stage with the rest of the guys I'd rather he keeps saying "fuck off" and end this drama once and for all instead of playing guest and giving in.

It royally pissed me off at the beginning but now I understand him.
