Does anyone know what time GnR will come on? The ticket says 6:30. I am coming from Huntington Beach area which is about a 40 min drive without traffic. But I'm sure there is going to be traffic and my friend won't be ready until 6 to leave....

I used to wonder too, but I think it's just black eyelashes vs the rest of his hair being a lighter color these days due to age.
He's been wearing eye liner for years now. Just on some days he wears it heavier.

I don't get the appeal of this"/Overrated:
- Patience -- This is pretty much the only GnR I truly dislike. The only part I can tolerate it the last 60 seconds of it when they play it on a faster tempo and with more background music/vocals. Not to mention its a snoozefest live.
- Don't Cry -- I do like all sorts of ballads but this one doesn't appeal to me at all. It's boring and nothing powerful about it for me
- November Rain --Again, I like ballads but this is GnR's most overrated song by far imo. The music video is amazing(probably why it has over 600M views on YT), but I always felt that the song's overall popularity sometimes overshadowed GnR's "dangerous" image.
"This is awesome and should get more love"/Underrated:
- Garden of Eden -- This deserved to be GnR's most popular song. The overall sound, energy, attitude, and tone defines GnR perfectly, and yet it is overshadowed by songs like SCOM and NR.
- Anything Goes -- It blows my mind that this song seems to be the least favorite AFD track, it kicks ass!
- You're Crazy(Acoustic) -- Why don't they ever perform this song live!? The only performances I've seen are from 1988.
- 14 Years -- Izzy has a great voice, kick ass song but its a shame that the only people who've heard it are hardcore fans

World of fire? You mean the dud he released that sold 42,000 copies, thats 42,000 over priced drink coasters. When Slash Has a Russian billionaire paying him a million dollars for one show than you can talk. Slash was playing lounges and Jiffy lube live a year before Axl let him back in the fold. Hes lucky Axl didn't reject him like Brett Michael's and Poison did when Slash tried out for them.
Well to be fair, there is nothing degrading at all about being rejected from Poison. They only rejected him because he refused to go along with the whole glam image

I checked Ticketmaster about 2 hours ago, there were still plenty of seats available on the middle and top tiers. I predicted the upper deck was going to be closed off but it seems to have sold better than I thought.

I really wish they would slow the fuck down on PD, I want to hear the version from Tokyo Dome 92' or atleast something close to it

Literally no surprise tonight. SMH

Axl really needs to stick with a simple wardrobe for this tour the mess of outfits thrown together just makes him look like a metro chode

PLEASE tell me all that "keep an eye on facebook live" hype was not all for a 6 second video from Slash's solo along with a 10 second video showing the snapchat of the crowd singing along?!

GnR Facebook just posted the video of Slash playing his solo with the caption "HAPPY F'N BIRTHDAY SLASH"

Seems that claim from a member here is turning out to be true...that GNR will tour SA this year, Australia in January, Japan in February and Europe after that.
If they go to Japan, do you guys think they'll book the Tokyo Dome? They performed 3 sold out shows there during the Illusions tour. But nowadays, it seems very rare for any Western/Non-Asian act to go for it. Even top mainstream bands like Coldplay can't sell out the TD

If Frank wasn't already here and Slash and Duff wanted Matt he would be the drummer. This supposed hatred for for Axl is being completely manufactured and exaggerated by fans imo. They proven they are capable of letting bygones be bygones and moving on
It was rumored that Slash and Duff did actually try to get Matt back in the band..http://www.alternativenation.net/slash-duff-mckagan-lobbied-for-axl-rose-to-bring-back-ex-guns-n-roses-member/

Slash mentions in his book that he did go visit him in like either 2005/2006 uninvited to bury the hatchet regarding a lawsuit. Axl claims that Slash talked shit on the other Velvet Revolver members (Scott, Duff, and Matt) but Slash denies it and it caused a lot of tension with VR.

Does anyone know if the upper deck level is open or closed off? I can't tell on ticketmaster whether or not they are sold out or blocked off

This is the worst opener in history of all openers. I can't take this much longer
Well the crowd seems to disagree. He's getting a much better and bigger crowd reaction compared to the other openers so far.

Stapleton damn near got a full house.
I'm not surprised, he's an amazing country artist so its expected he would already have a huge following in Nashville

Very true, one thing Is certain and that Is the love of this band. If you were a teenager(as we were) when they were In there prime It almost became your life and In your blood. Guns N Roses ruled the world. I really feel bad for younger fans who didn't get to experience that and have to try and relive the band through youtube because youtube just doesn't do It justice.
This. Im only 23, without youtube I probably wouldn't have even heard of GnR. But I am finally seeing them at Dodger stadium for the first time and I couldn't be more stoked about it. No popular act today has gotten me more excited than seeing GnR live

By the way, I am not sure if there are any country fans on this forum( I don't expect to be many), but Chris Stapleton is an amazing choice of an opener for Nashville. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a lot of rock fans are country fans(like myself), so I'm hoping he'll receive a good reaction from the crowd if not better than the other openers. It is Nashville we are talking about here, I'm assuming majority of the crowd are country fans anyway.

Trying to guess how much is sold by looking at the Ticketmaster site is tricky. However, when I looked at Nashville on July 2nd it was pretty much the same so I don't think they've done any sleight of hand that they did for some of the other shows they closed an upper level for. At best they could probably only close one side, if even that, with how few tickets look to be available down below (I am not the best judge here, so I could be wrong). Interestingly enough they opened up the lower bowl corner seats (I am guessing obstructed view?). I think someone earlier said that they dropped the price for the nose bleeds before sales were halted.
I don't think they've stopped sales on any the previous shows? I can't imagine they've sold that many tickets in twenty four hours, but who knows. It might be they closed down sales because they want to work out the logistics of moving some people and they are very close to completely filling lower levels and don't want to risk over filling (I am not sure if that makes sense though- why not sell tickets if you can?) or they are doing some fun give ways/discounts with the nosebleed tickets to put butts in the seats.
Sorry for the rambley almost stream of conscious post. This stuff fascinates me.
I just checked ticketmaster now, they took it off sale. Usually if the venue is sold out they would state it when clicking to buy tie tickets but they didn't do that here. I do agree with you on the belief that they didn't actually sell all those remaining nosebleeds within the past few hours. But I really feel like it will turn out to be a good crowd nonetheless

Highly doubt it, there's no way they'll fly back to America with a 19-hour time difference the day after a concert.
My bet is Rihanna will be booked this year.
