They would play it if Axl could sing it. I don’t think he has it on him to pull it off
I used to think/feel the same but it's gotten to a point where I don't think it matters. The songs they do play don't always sound that great either. I think they could perform Shackler's in a way similar to Slither, if that makes any sense. With enough backing vocals from Duff/Melissa/Dizzy I think it would be passable.

My gut tells me they are trolling us and that they have actual new music (I'll even count Hardschool since it hasn't been performed live, even though it's not NEW new) coming out and/or being performed soonish.
But at the same time I don't trust my gut at all anymore, especially not when it comes to Guns. So maybe this is all we get. No Hardschool, no single, no album, no nothing. We'll see. -
I don't think I will be comfortable going to normal concerts for quite a long time even after I get vaccinated (normal being like they were pre-pandemic). So I guess my answer is no, kind of?

The ballad reminds me of When the Children Cry by White Lion. I honestly don't hate it. The solo doesn't sound Slash-like. I don't really care for the rocker. I'm not a huge nerd when it comes to Axl's voice but something sounds a bit off. I think it's just a bit too much Axl to be Axl, if that makes any sense. My guess would be an impersonator.

I don't have a clear favorite, but "era" wise probably -92 followed by -06 followed by 80s followed by -02. 2010 sounds cool but something still feels off to me. Unfortunately I have to place NITL at the bottom.. but not because of Axl but because of Slash's bloated intro. I don't mind extending the intro (the "teasing" part) but Slash is just noodling around like he's on rehearsal waiting for the drummer to come back from piss break.

I wish I could agree with you people saying he sounds good but I just can't. Stoked to see them switching things up though, hope there will be videos (and that Axl sounds better in those).

I wish he would stay in his lower register more and just go high for flavour. Now it's basically the other way around and his high register doesn't project very well imo. At least it wasn't super mickey, I guess?

I don't know about this one. I kind of like it but it's hard for me to see/hear it as a GNR song, even by NuGNR standards. Maybe it's because of the lack of guitars, I don't know (+ Axl missing of course).

Thinking again about the PRL title... I can't remember who said it, whether it was that $3P guy or some other "source", but I'm sure PRL was said to stand for something along the lines of 'Perception Reality Life' (I can't remember what the exact words were) which doesn't sound too far fetched. Or I could just be remembering some misinformation pulled from the ass of the Atlist troll. Regardless, a phrase coined/thought up by Axl himself or an acronym of lyrics would probably be the most obvious option. Alternatively, other options could be:
In the medical field, PRL is used as an abbreviation for prolactin, the hormone that promotes breast growth and produces milk for feeding. For a song/album title, this could be used in relation to women or could even be used as a symbol of mother nature. It could even be in reference to it's relevance to sex hormones/sex steroids, although this is more of a stretch.
There is also the Port Rail Line in Hong Kong, which could have links to both Atlas Shrugged in particular and the Chinese theme in general. This is less likely, however, as although the ups and downs of the Hong Kong freight transport market is relevant to the themes in Atlas the book, the book is largely unrelated to the song itself, and is a pretty random thing to associate with as the follow up to Chinese Democracy.
PRL would also be an acronym for a vast amount of research laboratories (may or may not be relevant).
Any of this would be more likely than a by then defunct Polish political regime. 'Berlin' as the third title of this supposed politics trilogy, as has been suggested, is also a stretch, especially as Axl said that Chinese Democracy was simply an interesting concept/oxymoron rather than a political statement.
Or it could even be named after a completely meaningless title for a Pitman fart loop, and for all we know could stand for some random nonsense like Pitman Reed Lebeis, making all this speculation a waste of time.I think it was 'Perhaps Reimagined Life' or something like that. I've thought about it a lot but no one else seems to bring it up so I was starting to think it was a dream I had hah.

Isn't in weird that Zodiac is marked specifically as "no vox" when there are a bunch of other instrumentals on these cds?
Could it be becuase Zodiac had finished lyrics written but they weren't recorded yet? -
Out of the songs on that list they haven't played yet I'm betting Benny & the Jets will be the first one we'll hear.

I hope they've skipped songs so they can fit in something interesting during the encore. If they decide to play something new (Hard School) that's where it makes the most sense to put it if you ask me.

what did Axl say? I swear I heard something like "okay.. this is new. it was Richard's first *something*". but then just attitude
-
Yup, I can definitely jam to this.

I love the main part of Inside Out. Wish we'd get a version without the glitches. Not a big fan of the solo part.
-
Hopeful for setlist changes. Not expecting any new material. But Pretty Tied Up, So Fine or Think About You maybe?
Either way I'm kind of excited that they're going back out there. It's been a while. -

What the hell I thought I was the only one that heard more than a bit of FL at the begginning of the track. But not necessarily Yoshimi though, several other songs of theirs from their back catalogue have this same vibe. That's completely gone on the first version we heard a few years back.
Yup, I started humming Do You Realize?? as soon as the intro hit.

Back in the day it (the 16-sec leak) was called "No Love Remains" on some torrent with a few different CD leaks so that's why I'll always think of it as.
-
Someone on reddit is claiming Seven/7 has leaked too. No links or any kind of proof except saying the lyrics are silly but Axl sounds in good shape. I'm guessing there's not much truth to this?
-
Is it possible he means something more along the lines of "I can't believe it's finally happening"? As in he's shocked/surprised he's finally going to make another album under the GNR name.
-
My guess is that if there's anything "special" about this show it will be the amount of songs similar to the Forum show. Obviously depends on how the band is feelling (mostly Axl I presume) but either way I highly doubt we're gonna get anything new.
-
Checkmate was called No Love Remains in some collection of leaks i listened to in like 2006ish (?). I listened so much to that clip it will probably always be called that in my mind.

I can only find Scraped on my phone today, but I can find (and play) the whole of CD on my PC. DC Alt lyrics too.

What a weird world we live in.
I'm glad they're doing something at least, with this I'm very hopeful more is coming. I would've preferred Hardschool for the first single but oh well.
I don't hate Absurd as much as I thought I would but the placement of the "Screaming fucking banshee" line sounds so off to me. Sounds a lot better in the leaks (at least village sessions, I'm not sure I've heard the BBF leak).
