true mate its just very strange theres not a single thing seems to be happening, which i thought something would by now if this thing was getting released this year, does anyone from here know where the record company would likely got to get the pressings and if anyone worked there or even knew anyone that worked there that could enlighten us, i just think this thing is far too huge to keep under wraps if it is in mass production, my point is someone normal must know something even if its sorry nothing is happening. Or are these workers locked away after their shift until its released haha wouldnt surprise me.

alright all i see theres a lot of threads about the speculation on the release date of this album, and i for one think its very strange that weve heard next to nothing except rumours,

i know a lot of you say its getting kept under wraps to prevent leaks but seriously there must be tons of people who would know something unless axl is doing all the pressings himself, seriously if anything was actually happening someone would have said something dont you think.

Seriously though does anyone who knows someone who works at these pressing plants because if it was coming out this year then something would be happening. And if i worked in one of these places i would be on here like a shot to let people know its actually happening, i wouldnt nick a copy, well i might but i wouldnt leak it but i would want a listen like most of us would, we should start looking into these things to see if theres anything happening or not because it doesnt look good as this kind of thing involves a full workforce of normal people who dont have all this confidentiality shit.

doesnt look good does it? i dont think well ever see this bloody album, but theres been no news and what i find strange is that even before an album is due out, is that at least a tracklisting for albums come out up to 6 months before an album so why no tracklisting for it, seems very starnge to me.

i understand they are not playing much new music live but why the fuck not release the tracklisting on it. We dont even know whats going to appear on the album , names of songs etc, we dont even no the ones weve heard whether they will be on the album or not. i dont agree with your post at all. the outro to there was a time is amazing. the solo at the end of the blues is really good, and i also like the solo in better after axl sings "all that i wanted..." i think the solos on all of the new songs are better then any solo on contraband. that is not a nock on slash or any of the old guys, i am just saying. stop comparing the new band with the old band. maybe if you compared the stuff GNR is putting out (even though they havent put anything out, they are only demos) with the rest of the shit music out today you would appreciate it a lot more.

one question for you all, ive listened to the boots and gigs and yes they are ok but nothing special and where the fuckin hell is estranged and dont cry it aint a gnr gig without those tunes, we need axl and izzy out doing dont cry acoustically maybe ron doing the solo then fucking off again, and they should close the show with estranged which personally i think is axls finest moment, he wont top that tune in my opinion, they should drop paradise completely. Great tune for its time but its been fucking killed by mtv and radio time to put it to rest, time to play estranged for the final encore. Even have dont cry acoustic with axl and izzy(that would be worth watching fuckin mega) then november rain then estranged play the trilogy as a whole as its meant to be

ive made some valid points here and i would like to see some valid arguments not like go fuck slash you fucker or anything, axl has been quoted in thanking slash for his contribution to estranged which is one of my personal favourites he said he couldnt have written that song without slash and that is why it is no longer played live but it should be cause personally i think its the best song axl has ever fuckin written came straight from his heart but we wouldnt have ever heard it if it wasnt for slash working some magic too. just another point of a great songwriting partnership.
