Not sure, but also not sure what you mean to be honest.  How can you be sure they are missing it?  They may just be jukebox singles.  Those only came with a generic sleeve.

Check out all of these for sales: https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/706496?ev=rb

Almost all have a "generic" sleeve listed and the ones with the sleeve, in good shape, are a bit pricey for a U.S. 45.

  2. This might be a years-long journey, but I have a far-fetched goal of collecting at least one version of every official GN'R vinyl release. I say one version, because a lot of the releases are the same in multiple countries. For example, I own the German "It's So Easy" 12-inch and it's the exact same thing as the U.K. version. I'm also into picking up promos, but I wouldn't consider the collection incomplete if I'm missing a few. I made my first big step toward the collection this weekend when I pulled the trigger and coughed up $70 for the original cover "Appetite" release, which is actually a good price.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, I can post pics of the records as I get them.

Also, I'd love to see what everyone else has.

It might has been the case in the UK. Although if you read the books they wrote and watch documentaries there is no mention of ISE UK single. There are 3 official AFD singles: WTTJ, SCOM and PC

"Nightrain" was officially released as single. It even hit 93 on the Billboard singles chart. I used to have the mini-CD single, too.

  4. First of all, I'm not starting this to say "Hey, look what I have," (it is only nu GN'R, after all), but I was going through some DVDs today and found this DVD I forgot I had. In December of 2011 I saw GN'R play here in Indy and my friend's girlfriend, somehow, sneaked in an HD camcorder and was able to record a few songs. I had no idea at the time, as we were in different sections, but a few days later he surprised me and my other friend with the DVD with instructions to never upload it (I don't plan to as it's kinda cool to have such a personal memo). It's really nice, crystal clear TV broadcast quality, too, which is nice. Like I said, I won't upload the videos, but here is a picture from my TV tonight, as this was the first time I popped it in in a few years. Memories.

So, what do you have? Just curious... and this is not to start people begging for footage of any kind. Someone out there has to have stuff cooler than 2011 GN'R.

Wait... how come I can't insert a picture anymore? And why do I keep getting logged out?

  5. Also, I can't find my original picture (I took it like ten years ago), but this is supposedly the house where Axl grew up, according to a private source.

Additionally, and I'm not going to link to it, but if you search Tippecanoe County court records using Izzy's real name, you can see his speeding tickets. Most of them have a Santa Monica address, which I think it just a business address, but one has the address of the property where he was in the '90s in Indiana.

    So

-Axl is a shy N' smart kid with a loud mouth N' gets bullied because talks big (Before becomes a delinquent N' bad temper shows)

    - Izzy is a quite Guy who be friends (Or stuck:lol:) with Axl the loud mouth kid (This is when His temper shows) hung out together N' smoking pot

    - Shannon Hoon is a bully/jock in high school, Makes Me wonder if Izzy ever met/gets bullied by Shannon during high school

Izzy and Shannon went to different schools are are like five or six grades apart.

  7. Also, in reply to that video, I don't think anyone knows the actual address of Axl's childhood home. I was privately told a different address; one that matches up more with where he hung out as a kid and went to school and one way closer to where Izzy grew up.

That guy is, hilariously, mispronouncing all of the street names, too.

I graduated from Purdue (located in West Lafayette) in 1982, and could very well have been at the Mall or the local sandwich shop at the same time Axl was.    Lafayette is not very exciting, but on the other hand, you have all the opportunities afforded by having a Big 10 university in your back yard if you take advantage of them.  Obviously that wasn't a consideration for Axl & Izzy.  Anyway, traveling with two little ones you definitely made the right call to shorten your drive!

I also lived in Indy for several years after graduation and really liked it.  It offers a great combination of activities and a reasonable size for getting around.  Besides downtown, Broad Ripple was a good time, at least back in the day.

Oh, did you ever catch Dow Jones and the Industrials? Chris Clark, their bass player/singer, was actually the Purdue student body president in 1980. His whole campaign was just a scam to promote the band. Brilliant.

  9. Speaking of "Jungle," and who contributed, in Duff's book, he said the main riff was re-worked from the verse riff in this song from his high school punk band:

Edit: Not sure if the direct link works, so here's a link to the entire EP. It's the song "The Fake:"
