Bruce Springsteen - Dancing In The Dark
-
Yep. Red is the album you'd want to go get next
-
In that very limited list. John Bonham. Out of everyone, Bill Bruford is the man

"You ain't a beauty but hey you're alright, and that's alright with me." - Bruce Springsteen 'Thunder Road'
-
Marvin Gaye. Anything sounding Motown.
Bruce Springsteen.
Progressive music like Gentle Giant and King Crimson too.
-
Wanted to but couldn't afford a ticket. Gutted

This is what I did to make it work:
Start Menu
Control Panel
Sounds and Audio Devices
Beneath 'Device Volume' click Advanced
Turn up 'SW Synth' and make sure it's unmuted

I have rediscovered my love for The Elders Scrolls: Oblivion I can't understand why didn't play through it on my old computer.
I love it, it's seriously amazing!! Check out Morrowind too, really cool.
Personally I reckon Morrowind was a better game than Oblivion. The more varied world and the lack of level scaling did the business.

I have over 20 games right now for the wii, a majority of them being 3rd party. Problem is that clearly you are not looking any further then the edge of your nose. If your looking for cliched experiences that have been done a million times before and probably better at that, perhaps you should go pick up a 360 or a ps3.
The irony of your statement is that the ps3 has no AAA titles as of right now. the closest it came with a AAA title is uncharted, but again, it's been done before, and better.
Honestly, do Nintendo a favor, if your so dis-satisfied with your wii, sell it to someone who wants it more then you do, and won't bitch about "lack of third party support because their isn't big explosions or enough gore."
I have 13 Wii games, not counting VC titles (For which I've spent $120 on).
So?
Name yours.
I bet more than half of them are shit. You praise Ghost Squad.
That isn't even worth the $30 dollar price tag. I've looked further than my nose, reading countless reviews on games.
There's too much shit in between the good titles. That's just a fact. I can even go on a fucking Wii forum, and see them complain about the same shit as I am now. Not counting the countless articles stating the same thing.
There is no irony in my statement. I never said the PS3 didn't have any shit on it.
The irony was in the one you had said previously. You rag on the PS3 for its shit games all the time, yet when someone brought up that Ninjabread game, you simply slide it off as them all having bad games. No worse than the rest. Bahahahahaha.
I wont be selling my Wii. It will simply be a secondary console when I'm able to purchase another one.
That's all the Wii is. It's a secondary console. And, I wont be selling it off so quick when I have Brawl to look forward to.
And, as I said before, I'm content at the moment.
I don't see myself being that way in 6months. It will feel like a wasted purchase.
I like to play games for a fucking game system. Why should I have to look elsewhere? They should be supplying me with what I paid for.
And, what a cliched fucking response at the end.
"and won't bitch about "lack of third party support because their isn't big explosions or enough gore."
Please, dude.
Unless it was sold to some knob who only wants it for mini games, I'm sure they'd feel the same after a while too.
Because that seems to be all it can put out. It's a glorified mini game machine. Or, better yet, just crap. Because developers are not working their hardest to provide pristine gaming experiences. People buy the shit easy games to make, so they don't feel they have to work on Grade A stuff.
And, you being a Ninty Fan should be the last one to be crying foul on the PS3 for cliched game experiences.
The Wii is full of them. How many times can Mario actually save Peach?
God, I hate Fanboys.
I don't go after games like gundam on the ps3, because those games aren't worth my breath, I go after what are the "Best" titles on the ps3.
I don't know why your trying to impress me with your "whopping" 13 games, congragulations I suppose?
I'm not gonna write a list of my games, I have over 28, and it would be too tedious for me to do so. But trust me, with the exception of super monkey ball banana blitz none of them are minigames.
as for the future of the console, well isn't there gonna be something like 158 titles for the wii over the next 6 months? (I forget if the 158 is included for ds games.) Sure most of it is shit shovelware, but theres some very notable inclusions such as smash, mario kart etc.
It can do much more then mini games, and of course it has more mini games shovelware then anything else, it's what it was marketed as, what else did you expect?
Over 28? Would've been easier to just say 29 really.

A flat mate of mine was absolutely obsessed with it so I saw it a few times last year. Personally I thought that it was better than Saw (which was also very good), and if you liked Saw then go for it.

I saw Cable Guy last night.
My God, Jim Carrey is annoying.
That's one of his best films because he doesn't use his annoying "let's shout a line while putting on a funny voice" comedy.
I still think he is way out there with his annoying behavior, and I much more prefer Truman Show and Bruce Almighty where you see fairly little to it.
I never "got" The Truman show as a comedy.
Bruce Almighty had it's moments (back to the studio......FUCKERS!) but suffered from Carrey's overacting. When he taunts God "SMITE ME OH SMITEFULONE!" is an example of Carrey's overacted shouting lines with funny voices.
Man On the Moon do anything for you? Easily my favourite Carrey film

Speaking of Zelda, I absolutely hated the Twilight Princess, I spent about 10 hours trying to get into that game and the storyline just became more and more dull.
Cue Jack calling you an uneducated and ignorant gamer.

God I want Mass Effect so bad right now
you and me both...
looks forking amazing...
What's with all the Halo and FF love here? Halo always seemed like a generic FPS and FF... ugh.halo is to console shooters what halflife was to pc shooters and goldeneye was to 3-D shooters...
insanely fun...
good story...
and variation...
rather than the same boring locations and same corridors...
Not to mention greatest multiplayer in the history of videogames, imo of course.
console videogames...
counterstrike is still the best or i believe so...
halo 3 multiplayer to me just doesnt seem as fun or innovative as halo 2 sadly...
There's plenty of other FPSs I would take over Halo: AvP2, FEAR, Q2, D2 etc. It just didn't have much interest for me. As for multiplayer, you can't beat a 4 way Mario Kart 64
I'd like to add XIII and timesplitters 2 (which is basically golden eye with better graphics, controls and music) to FPS games I'd take over Halo.
XIII was fantastic. Did a sequel ever turn up? Ending like it did you'd think there'd be one

That's Gillan. Sounds nothing like Dio.

Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road
The screen door slams, Mary's dress waves
Like a vision she dances across the porch as the radio plays
Roy Orbison singing for the lonely
Hey, that's me and I want you only
Don't turn me home again, I just can't face myself alone again
Don't run back inside, darling, you know just what I'm here for
So you're scared and you're thinking that maybe we ain't that young anymore
Show a little faith, there's magic in the night
You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright
Oh, and that's alright with me
You can hide 'neath your covers and study your pain
Make crosses from your lovers, throw roses in the rain
Waste your summer praying in vain
For a savior to rise from these streets
Well now, I ain't no hero, that's understood
All the redemption I can offer, girl, is beneath this dirty hood
With a chance to make it good somehow
Hey, what else can we do now?
Except roll down the window and let the wind blow back your hair
Well, the night's busting open, these two lanes will take us anywhere
We got one last chance to make it real
To trade in these wings on some wheels
Climb in back, heaven's waiting on down the tracks
Oh oh, come take my hand
We're riding out tonight to case the promised land
Oh oh oh oh, Thunder Road
Oh, Thunder Road, oh, Thunder Road
Lying out there like a killer in the sun
Hey, I know it's late, we can make it if we run
Oh oh oh oh, Thunder Road
Sit tight, take hold, Thunder Road
Well, I got this guitar and I learned how to make it talk
And my car's out back if you're ready to take that long walk
From your front porch to my front seat
The door's open but the ride ain't free
And I know you're lonely for words that I ain't spoken
But tonight we'll be free, all the promises'll be broken
There were ghosts in the eyes of all the boys you sent away
They haunt this dusty beach road in the skeleton frames of burned-out Chevrolets
They scream your name at night in the street
Your graduation gown lies in rags at their feet
And in the lonely cool before dawn
You hear their engines rolling on
But when you get to the porch, they're gone on the wind
So Mary, climb in
It's a town full of losers, I'm pulling out of here to win

Maiden.
Not remotely impressed by Bach's version.
-
I'm tempted to download, but I think I'll have to wait and buy it
-
He's pure class. One of my favourite musicians at the moment.
-
Cristina Scabbia should be higher.
Britney... that's pretty horrid
-
Ancient Mariner. Alexander is great but Ancient Mariner is on a different level entirely.
-
Bruce Dickinson. I'm a big fan of Dio as well but prefer Bruce.

Good Music Documentaries?
in MY WORLD

More of a compilation than a documentary but worth a watch is 'The Kids Are Alright' (The Who).
