Great great Live band, can't wait to see them again at the Roskilde Festival,
saw them last year in Hamburg.
Have fun!
-
Love that album! The sound, guitar work, vocals it's all amazing!
-
So many good ones.
Hmm at the moment Animals and The Wall
-
Just got back. Great show. There is no better fucking rock song to close a show than Paradise City.
Start - Awesome. WTTJ, It's So Easy, Mr B and LALD (yes, I take back all my teasing about the Wings cover).
Middle - Up and down. Solos and low-tempo stuff like KOHD really sucked the energy out of the place.
Ending - Fucking insane. Nightrain and Paradise City went off.
Axl told a funny story about Bubbles, Mexico and Tequila. Then sang Liquor and Whores with Bubbles. Axl seemed to love it, even if the crowd were all a bit mystified.
Oh, and Axl went on at 11:05pm. Pretty damn good.
Sounds like you had a great time.

The Rolling Stones Now!
Great album IMO pure rock/blues, it has great songs such as:
Everybody needs Somebody to Love
What A Shame
Off The Hook
Mona (I Need You Baby)
Little Red Rooster
etc...
-
Yes! Bring back the rage!
I hope it's a countdown for a new album or a world tour or both.
-
Okay band I only have their GH Red-White-Crue and I like a lot of the songs.
Great drinking music just like AC/DC!
-
Is it better than the rest of his solo stuff? While I loved him with The Beatles, I haven't been too fond of his work after that.
It's not better but it's a great album with many great songs and a few bad ones IMO
I think Paul has made some great music after the Beatles both with Wings and Solo.
Band on the Run -Tug of War -Flaming Pie are all amazing albums.
-
Michael Jackson but Prince is better than both of them IMO
-
Can't find the version with the spoken introduction to the song but heres the song itself:
To set it in context, Bowies just played an amazing set on the last show of the tour and hes about the round things off with a final song.
He looks to the crowd and says "Not only is it the last show of the tour, but it's the last show we'll ever do. Thank you."
Unknown to fans at the time, he wasn't retiring, he was just retiring his Ziggy Stardust persona.
Yeah, I'm obsessed.
That moment is crazy. I love the whole show, Bowie is amazing!!

Metal bands I like:
Tool
Metallica
Megadeth
Pantera
Mastodon
Opeth
Slayer
Black Sabbath
Iron Maiden
Slipknot
-
There was another metal album I wanted to get. I got Mastodon - they rocks - Blood Mountain rules.
Agreed very good album Mastodon is a great band IMO
I will also buy this album soon, Dio's vocals are insane..
-
Rihanna is among the worst artist ever IMO
She uses playback every time she performes and her songs just sucks ass.
-
With or Without You
-
I only buy a few songs every month..
I would never buy an entire album from the I-Tunes store,
I want the Package/Cover with my albums..
-
Depeche Mode is a great band, I really like their sound and Dave's voice.
Violater is one of the best albums ever made IMO.
-
I love Bowie and the song, but it's not Bowie's best song IMO.
-
I'm impressed by the set list. I wasn't expecting Corgan to play as many classic songs as he did. It seems as though he's making a real effort to appease the fans. There seems to be a terrific mix of the new material and a lot of what made Smashing Pumpkins a gem of the 90's..
Paris, May 22, 2007:
'United States'
'Today'
'Stand Inside Your Love'
'Doomsday Clock'
'Home'
'Hummer'
'Starz'
'Tarantula'
'Bullet With Butterfly Wings'
'For God And Country'
'Thirty-Three'
'Mayonnaise'
'Winterlong'
'Glass & The Ghost Children'
'Cherub Rock'
'1979'
'Tonight, Tonight'
'Neverlost'
'That's The Way (My Love Is)'
'Disarm'
'Zero'
'Shame'
'Silverfuck/The End'
'Annie-Dog'
'Muzzle'
I know a lot of people were skeptical of how Corgan would manage this 'revival'. Admittedly, I'm still not impressed by his decision to bring in a faux-James and faux-D'arcy, but I think he's handling everything with relative care. The new material sounds really promising..
