  1. why did it disappear?

    one word.....grunge.

it messed a lot of stuff up...dont get me wrong, i like some nirvana but the kids just went crazy with it and suddenly hardrock and metal were diseases.

but VR is bringing it back to a certain degree...there are no other bands who really play hardrock and are in the spotlight like them.

aerosmith is a poprockband now, forget them.

    and all that nu-metal stuff....yaaaaawwwnn.

and the post above me, there are many talented musicians, but they arent getting the chance by the recordcompanies, cos the mtv generation doesnt want it....period.

  2. I hate 'em.

    Within temptation is even worse.

It's become a fucking trend to have a female opera vocalist and play some kind of b-poser metal.

I like Evanescence, you can hear they are genuine and they have great songs.

i think you got it the wrong way around dude.....within temptation are genuine, evanescence is fake

    Don't think so.

I saw one of their videos and they were such posers.

The bassplayer (I think) trying to look so evil, angry when he sang some part in the song it was pathetic.

dude forget how they look and act, LISTEN TO THE MUSIC...whats wrong with you Mtv-generation-folk?...always going for the looks and act.

  4. axl, ronnie dio, ian gillan, david coverdale, robert plant....when they were all singing at their best which unfortunately none of them do now

the only singer who seems to sing at his top still is glenn hughes, but he sings funky fusionrock music which i cant listen to for too long.

and freddie mercury is overrated...people dont seem to realise that ALL the high notes were sung by the drummer (the harmonising), NOT freddie and some by brian may.

listen closely next time and youll hear it very clear....and him singing an opera, it maybe sounded good for the average person, but one who studies classical music knows it was weak.

anyway enough ranting bout freddie

    cheerz
