@Blackstar That is a great write-up of "The Curious Incident of Slash in the Nighttime". Should be indexed

Yes! I didn't know the saga...it was fascinating to read...I'm sure it was discussed before...but....after Weiland was fired, Duff and Slash continue their friendship with him? How Duff, Slash or even Axl reacted with Weiland's passing?

Interesting that Mark Canter said that he believes Slash really badmouth VR members, including Duff...

Thr GNR saga could fill an entire library....

Edit to add: I'm so glad for all the people who had a great time in Prague....

Axl's writing always fascinates me. So rambling, ranty, long-winded, egocentric, often childish ... but it's like you can just glimpse the intelligence trying to get out. If he had finished school and got a third level arts education he could have been an academic.

I tried and read that letter three times....I gave up!

Fascinates me in the sense that he cares at least at that time about how he was perceived and gives you a little glimpse about his mental state, in my opinion...no much healthy and stable.

I wonder if he had an assistant who wrote that, imagine....the face of the woman/man hearing that....

Yeah, the soul thing is weird but I guess that's some kind of terminology that is part of his usual communication. Remember that book he gave to Erin before a break up? It was about soulmates. Then there is the Slash soul leaving his dead body and being replaced by someone else . There's the soul transferring he used to perform with the Yoda people and all that talk about souls he did to Erin (him being posessed by John Bonham spirit, Erin & Stephanie being sisters in a past life and Erin having killed their children in another life as well).

    Oh dear God:facepalm:

Tori72 that cartoon is very funny! Steven's face...haha

Well.... it feels like when he has something important to communicate he will do it like that, onstage. No more interviews ever again

    It's really a shame, isn't it?

I heard the interview that he made for BBC radio with Angus....he sound so lively and happy, I wish hear something like that with Slash

2016 (AC/DC): just when you rule out a ressurection of the almighty chainsaw roar, it grabs you by the balls. Flawless performance and astonishing screams. You start to notice he's not the young puppy he was 10 years earlier, but that made his vocals even more impressive.

Yes! How I loved that AC/DC concert in Fort Lauderdale! it was perfect!

    Gaanzer, very well put post.

  6. I think they will stop at least for some time after November 25.

I truly believe Angus and Axl will be involved in AC/DC in 2018. Angus is around too much....to think that the bromance has ended. There is only a rumor but the same promoter that brought Guns to San Jose put in his facebook page a giant bell saying that we should expect a mega announce for 2018. Everybody says is AC/DC.

And Slash will be with the Conspirators to my despair (I don't like how Myles Kennedy sings)

I wouldn't want to hear that to be honest buy I totally agree with the comment. The chemistry between those five guys was the closest thing to perfection this world has ever witnessed, they could do no fn' wrong!

    This 100% agree

I feel really down that my GnR shows are gone, really depressed :(  I feel like I didn't take it all in and wasn't appreciating it enough at the time and now I regret it. Anyone else ever felt like this after a show? It's horrible.

Yes, I saw them in San Jose, Costa Rica, now my husband and I have plane and concert tickets for Miami in August 8....I cannot wait!!

My love for GNR surprisingly rekindled thanks to AC/DC.....I was for work in Fort Lauderdale and a cousin take me to see them as a Bday present last year...I didn't know Axl was fronting AC/DC....imagine the surprise when my cousin told me...it was the experience of my life!!!
