This thread sums up the problem with GNR fans, you have one crowd demanding the release and the other crowd who are willing to wait.

Yet no one will take any action, this is your perfect chance to either a) get the album release or B) add another chapter to the whole ridculous story of Chinese Democracy Album.

So here is my advice, order it, tell your friends to order it, tell other forum members to order it and their friends to order it, also other GNR based forum memeber can order it and likewise with their friends, also remember the release date is 12th of February just in time for Valentines Day so buy your bird a copy, with all that in mind we should be able to get 50,000 minmum to sign up, that would 1) send a clear message to Axl and the record company that there is a demand for his record.

LOOK if you want something then sitting on your arse achieved nothing, unless your life's ambition is to sponge off the government.

it's been on the radio in brisbane this morning that the concert was shit last night, but i'd say tonight there will be more hardcore fans, because this is the one that sold out in the first day, i have a feeling it might be a younger crowd too, it's time for the crowd to show some respect, and how this band rocks! ....and for axl to show what he really can do!, but axl don't be late man, don't give anyone a reason to be wankers and fuck it up for everyone, i'll start drinking around 4pm can't fucking wait!.

I'm going to the Saturday show in Sydney and anticpating a late start but cityrail have some extra trains to take us back to either Central or Strathfield.

Not too sure what time I will start drinking.

tickets go on sale on Thursday April 26th unless you received a text message from Optus, they offered presale until Sunday 8pm, I got my ticket for the Sydney ACER arena.

EAGLES OF DEATH METAL appear to have been removed from the GUNS N' ROSES tour after only one show

due to an overwhelmingly poor reception the band got from the GN'R audience during EAGLES' tour opener.

According to several fans who attended last night's (Nov. 24) GUNS N' ROSES concert at Quicken Loans

Arena in Cleveland, Ohio (also featuring SEBASTIAN BACH and SUICIDE GIRLS), people were booing

throughout EAGLES' hour-long set, with some of the GN'R fans calling the group's performance "horrid at

best" and describing the band's music as "pretty fucking lame," with a repertoire of songs that sound "almost

the same." GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose apparently agreed with his fans, because a few songs into

GNR's set he reportedly said something to the effect of, "So how'd you like THE PIGEONS OF SHIT METAL?

Don't worry, that's the last show they're playing with us."

EAGLES OF DEATH METAL released its second album, "Death By Sexy", earlier this year. The CD features

appearances by Mark Lanegan and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE drummer Joey Castillo, while DISTILLERS

PS I nearly got kicked out of an Eels gigi for shouting out "you are shit" to the support act. I do no t know what was worse me shouting "you are shit " or people laughing at my comments and clapping.

GnR are without question a great band with loyal fans, fans that deserve a degree of respect and or interaction from the band.We understand the concerns over commenting on issues where the results may change, but it is time the band and management interacted with fans and chucked us a bone.We are not asking for a release date though it would be nice but simply asking for a status/progress report on the band future plans and CD.Some of the comments that have come from people connected to the band regarding fans have been a discrace.We are not just people that sit at computers bitching and moaning about set lists and Axls clothing but people who pay good hard earned money to see the band we love.We are not owed anything from the band but this is no longer an issue of being owed, its an issue of GnR realising what a loyal bunch of fuckers they have fighjting their corner, and trust me we are fighting.We are more than aware of this bands potential but the band should also be aware of the fans potential, we have the potential to help turn this band into the biggest rock band on earth again.It is us that will be standing in line to buy CD and tour tickets, it is us that will be buying crap rags just to read articles relating to GnR.We are loyal and ever patient but enough is enough.Show the fans some respect and throw us a bone.Repay the loyalty that we have given to every incarnation of GnR.While the internet is a big carbage can for most of us it is the only way to get news but because of the lack of official contact we have hoaxes and false hope aswell as crappy rumours designed to mock fans.We are your fans, maybe you may want to make us less open to hoaxes by giving us updates and allowing the band to comment as indeviduals instead of trapping them in your cult like contracts.

Axl needs to rework his finale and get rid of the Confetti. He needs a bad-ass indoor fireworks show or something else at the conclusion of Paradise City. Seeing it live makes you feel like you are watching a cheesy New Years Eve Party or something. Stupid topic, I know, but I just think it would be cool if they do something else for the big ending. Anyone else agree?

The Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet (Story#1, Story#2) has revealed more information about Tuesday's (June 27) early morning brawl at Stockholm's Berns hotel that resulted in GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose being arrested on suspicion of damaging property at the hotel, assaulting a security guard and threatening police.

Now suspicion of damaging property, so me a favour what did he do break a glass bowl, assaulting a security guard, that can be just pushing him away and him falling over and threatning police. Police can cite threatning behavoiur as not doing what they ask.

So there we have it, Axl knocked over a glass bowl, pushed an over zealous securtiy guard who called the cops and when they arrived Axl did not feel like co-operating*

Most bands, especially Rock bands, write songs whilst on the road touring. Usually when a tour finnishes the band head back to the studio to work on their idea's.

I wonder how many new songs GNR have penned whilst on the road so far?

What is the problem here with releasing the album, GNR are touring so there is no finnishing work to be done? and if there is I do not think the time between finnishing the European tour and starting the US tour is enough.

What I have hear is that the album is ready, GNR have to complete a successful tour which is why Europe was decided before the US.

Once a successful European tour has been done (without any hitches) then concert promoters and venues for the US will be established for a full blown 3 or 4 month US tour before heading down under (thats for you Aussie Axl) and working their way back to Europe via Asia and South America.

To promote the US tour their will be a single released maybe 1st week in September and the album to be dropped last week in September or first week October, the album is a 13 tracker with a follow up coming out in between March to May 2007.

My only question is that this is a very good laid out plan by the band and record company, but it's RnR and s lot of songwriting is done on the road, I wonder what new songs GNR have been working on so far?

I agree the maturity of these new songs are great, these tracks are real growers rather than flash in the pan songs, I can see Better being on constant repeat on MTV without being boring.

Since the leaked songs are considered forbidden fruit it would be rude not to bite.

And Ebay will do fook all, I'm with the author of this thread, fook them the lot of them I hate ticket touts, I would not mind if they got hold of them in a legit way, but these fookers have got their hands on around 25 or so tickets, how the fook did they manage that if they are like gold dust and so fooking difficult to get hold of.

It stinks but if they have the means to get the tickets in a shady way then we have the right to fook them over and make it as difficult as possible to get them sold.

I tried to get tickets to see the Rolling Stones play a small club in Utrecht a couple of years ago, the fooking thing was sold out before the tickets went on sale.

If he is a fully fledged member will he contribute to the new album? I guess if they have 3 CDs worth of music he will be missing from the first release and feature on others, or maybe has he re recorded Buckethead material or even added new layers onto songs for the first CD.
