The Animals - House Of The Rising Sun
I have to agree that this is an over rated tune, am I correct in thinking that none of the animals put their name to this song, so whoever re-records and releases this song also receives writing royalties as well.
-
Ramones - Today your love tomorrow the world
Cheap Trick - Daddy should of stayed in high school
David Lee Roth - Ladies Nite In Buffalo
Uncle Sam - Whiskey Slick
Black Crowes - Hotel Illness
Black Grape - Kelly Hero's
Stone Roses - Love Spreads
Metallica - For Whom The Bell Tolls
Guns N Roses - Move to the City
-
I did not know that, however the album did sound a bit soundtracky, I wonder who would of been the Yankee Rose
-
David Lee Roths Eat em smile album is on my top ten albums, Yankee Rose, Tobacco Road, Ladies Nite in Buffalo just to name a few, Dave you are a master.
I will play this album tonight on a very loud volumne, the neighbours need to be educated.
-
I remember them but did not get into them as I never actually heard much of them on the radio or TV.
They did a cover of Saturday night is all right (for fighting) I seem to remember which was pretty good.
-
that song is a pile of shite and was released at a very stupid time by the Cranberries, who should of known better.
Love / Hate - Why do you think they call it dope
killer bass in this song
-
I am a fan of the Libertines, not heard any of the new Babyshambles stuff though.
The lucky bastard Pete is dating Kate Moss, god I would love to lick her out (sorry Pete).

Here are my most under rated bands / artist I can think of
Uncle Sam - (go buy the album letters from london)
kings of leon ( a must for all Skynnard fans)
Megadeth (over shadowed by Metallica)
Tricky (UK Hip hop which is a bit darker than the Streets)
Suicidal Tendencies (Speed Thrash that got serious airplay from skate boarders)
Cody Chessnutt - (Prince meets Lenny Kravitz)
Masters of Reality - (get the debut album for some serious prog mind bending rock n roll)
-
I find it hard to beleive why the following bands / individuals are rated so highly,
The Flaming Lips
Maroon (yaaaawwwwn) 5
Britney Spears
Missy Elliot
what are yours???
-
Metallica should be in.
Also big shout out to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers

I have the first two albums, the second album is an absolute gem and I guess GNR fans would love it as it has the same kind of lyrically stories found on GNR's AFD.
Red Shirt - is a great song about two people fucking each other in the workplace secrectly, Red shirt is a code that she is wanting to have sex straight away.
Whiskey Slick, is of the same vein as Nighttrain, but instead of drinking Wine your drinking whiskey
Ain't No Valentino is about a guy who is a guy, don't expect flowers from me, cos I aint no valentino, I aint no valentine
Letters From London is about being cheated on from a long long distance
The sound of Uncle Sam is more punk than GNR but they do have the GNR rawness, I guess it is unfair to similarise the two bands but if you listen to both albums the style of music differs but lyrically they are spot on
Please let me know if you you like Uncle Sam, especially Letters From London
