GodSmack is the best bet for an opening band for GNR. They kick ,major A S S. They are heavy rock and they won't put anyone to sleep. Oasis sounds of P U S S Y band material. I'M Alive for you!

Like I said Godsmack would kick ass as an opener for GNR. Better than any dumb A S S dead hairband or that S H I T their touring with now.

Poison sucks wet A S S. The ultimate opening band for GNR would be Godsmack. They have the same intense sound as some of the Guners heavier songs. They would compliment each other perfectly. Heavy rock songs throughout not a DJ mixxin records. That should only be done on the streets of Harlem.

Adler is dumb looking. That Spaghetti Incident cd is bad A S S though. Even though there cover songs only GNR could make them cool. Bad A S S songs on that cd:

I bought the cd of the punk band that originally sang Down on the Farm hoping it would be good since the Gunners had a great version of it but the original bands song sucked donkey balls. Only the Gunners could make that song sound good.

It's nice to see a newspaper critic say these good things about the new GNR. Maybe more will come to the light and praise a good show when they see one. I have yet to see the new GNR in concert but come Dec 22 I'll be all over it.

I just listened to that cover band's version of My Michelle and i would like to say it was alright, not great though like the man up there would have you believe. As far as the lead singer's voice being better than Axl's no F U C K I N G way! This guy is deluded. If you have seen the GNR tape of the UYI tour released where they play in Japan then you heard the part of the concert where Axl introduces Duff and he walks up to the mic and says "YO" Has anyone heard him say YO like that lately? ;D

Does anyone remember when Duff 8) was a bad Mutha back in the early 90's when GNR was at their peak? He had the long hair and the black leather outfit, he was a bad A S S bass player. Has anyone seen him lately? I saw a picture of him on a web site for his last band Loaded and he looked like s h i t. His hair was short and he looked like he was 65 years old :'(. He also stopped drinking cause his bladder or something blew up from all the heavy drinking over the years, he was the Gunners heaviest drinker. Maybe rock stars shouldn't be allowed to grow old. Its very depressing to see this happen and there are no rockers out there who can replace what these guys brought to us.  

What show was the one in a million played so I can look for it on eBay or maybe my connection can get me a bootlet. I just need to know at what show it was played. And if it is cut from new releases of the Lies cd it just shows that this politically correct country is turning to S H I T      How can anyone forget "imigrants and fagots, make no sence to me, they come to our country and think they'll do as they please."

Hey man if you read my post I listed earlier in the week(most expensive video ever) you will see I feel the same way you do about Estraned. Completely overlooked by the pop media. I'm glad to see there is a concerned GNR fan that cares about their non radio played songs as I do. Especially their deep cuts on UYI cds( have you heard Breakdown) Estranged kicks A S S!

I remember seeing a show on MTV a few months back about the most expensive videos ever. There was a bunch of rap and hip hop crap on there of course but the Gunners had November Rain as the #10 most expensive video I believe, it's been a few months since I saw the show so the ranking might be wrong, but thats not my concern. My problem is that Estranged was not on the countdown. Anyone who has seen this huge production of a video knows, just by watching the effects and the props in this video, a huge tanker just for our boys, can see this was a monumental undertakng that cost millions of dollars. Even more expensive then November Rain. In November Rain I saw a church and a model as Axl's bride. I'm not bashing the November Rain video I'm just saying the Estranged video was a bigger production that cost a lot more money cause of the scope of it all. MTV wouldn't show the Estranged video in their expensive video countdown because the song wasn't as popular as some of the other videos on the countdown and November Rain. Personally I think Estranged is a better song than November Rain and the video should have gotten its recognition as being the epic music experience that it was. This just shows that the pop culture led by Mtv is horse S H I T.
