Didn’t Slash say in the last 6 months that “new music was coming out as week speak” with more “complicated arrangements”” and that the UYI boxset was coming out this summer? We’ve been teased with Atlas for how many years now? Not to mention the teases pre reunion from fortus, BBF etc?

That’s a tease if I ever heard one. 

I’m not sure those same bands that have toured without releasing new music had been teasing releasing new music since 2008 tho

I honestly believe it would have sold better as a solo album. 
 

At the time in 2008, I rolled my eyes at CD. I would have given it an honest listen and fair shake right in 2008 released as a solo album. But instead, I scoffed at the album for 2 years before I started to appreciate it.

I agree there’s stuff out there hoarded. I just don’t see a “fuck it” moment happening in the near future or at all really.

So we were told that at the beginning, it was Slash and Duff who on their own when and learned the CD songs. Since SOD seems like a song Slash wasn’t interested in writing in 95-97, I’m assuming Axl is the one that wanted to dust this one off. 

I’ve been a fan of the Blues for a long time like most, but I’m startled that they added it to the set. More startled that when they played Absurd!

The pattern seems to be releasing the oldest finished material. To me it’s most certainly going to be Atlas. With a new title IMO
