I don’t know what I want anymore.

The NR outro at MetLife in ‘16 gave me goosebumps. The sound, the crowd of 50,000+, whatever it was, I found it to be breathtaking. It honestly caught me off guard by how moved I was by the performance. Especially since it wasn’t high on my list of songs I was looking forward to seeing.
Maybe I'm easily pleased, or maybe I was just caught up in the emotion of seeing Slash, Duff and Axl on stage when I never thought I would, but I personally would rate it song of the night!

Are we sure this wasn’t 4tus with a Les Paul and a top hat?
the only thing for sure with GNR, that that nothing is for sure with GNR

The answer to anything related to releasing CD session matierial is yes. It exists, release it.

can you imagine them saying "your favourite YT channels where closed down and forum members family members have been threatened with OUR full backing"
now would you like to buy a picture of the band from us for £260.
Totally f****ed

I think it could absolutely bring more ears to SMKC. The GNR fans that bailed in the late 90s are now more likely to be following Slash in social media platforms than before he reunion.

Maybe they release a box set and you get a plate of spaghetti if you get the $650 version.
Well done sir!

Going by those rules I’m going to vote the set list from the show I saw in Hartford. Took me a while to pick my jaw up off of the floor when they played Prostitute. The MetLife stadium show wasn’t quite as good.
I love It’s So Easy first! That bass line is a fun and to the point intro. I’m all about starting the show at 100 mph. While, I like WTTJ and CD, they take a bit long to get going.
Nightrain is perfect where it is.
Estranged is too early in the set, as someone else also said.
I would like another song or 2 as a part of a Spaghetti Medley with New Rose and Attitude.

I never said there was anything wrong with it. I was simply explaining the likely contents of the interview. Nevertheless, i was surprised to see the question on new music.
He said that in 2012. Way before the reunion or any preliminary plans were put into motion.
So I did have my dates confused

I believe we’ll never get new music.
BUT when did Axl say the words “not in this lifetime” when asked about a reunion. My memory is shit but didn’t we find out it was after the reconciliation?

Nightrain
Nightrain
Nightrain
ok sorry, more seriously ...
Nightrain
Mr. Brownstone
Rocket Queen
Estranged
Street of Dreams
Garden of Eden
Dust N’ Bones (and that’s alright!)
Live and Let Die
Double Talkin’ Jive
Prostitute
The reality is, I started drinking a coupla hours ago, so don’t take my list too literally.
Ahh, Patience is another good one.
Also, My World is the only song I can’t stomach. I like the generally hated songs too, like Back off Bitch, Riad, etc...
Lastly, I WILL TAKE NO LIST SERIOUSLY THAT DOESNT NOT CONTAIN NIGHTRAIN AS A TOP 3 SONG

Pros:
Slash left GNR when I was 10 years old and I (obviously) didn’t get to see my favorite band play live. It was crushing news. And for 20 years I thought I’d never see the day I’d see my favorite guitar player and favorite singer play together again.
That pro outweighs any Con for me.

My dream is to hear is the UYI version Slash said he h had without all the synths that he mentioned in his book.

I mean I went to a sold out show in a 10,000 Mac amphitheater
otherwise I have no idea.

I’m down for anything

Post of the thread! Well done!
Thank you, thank you, you’re far too kind!
But seriously, I have attempted to watch the video a few times and I just can’t stomach more than the first 3 minutes.

Since he refers to the physical material as “faux leather” so many times, shouldn’t he refer to some of the songs as “faux unreleased tracks”
