Yes, forgot to mention that billy idol always shares stories for each song. I think that is a requirement. So we'd get a lot of insight into Izzy.

That might be why he is doing this. Perhaps he wants to pitch to Sirius. Billy idol has a show on tuesdays where he shares punk bands-its really good. I'd love it if izzy did something like that his voice is so soothing

He said in a podcast from 2006 that going to jail was his low point and made him decide to get clean. Personally, I don’t really think going to jail would be that bad, definitely not the same as prison (I’ve never been to eithe btw) lol but I think it speaks to the fact that he is a good guy. He was raised right, with good Midwest values

Kevin has another photo like the one above and he mentions that it’s Izzy’s brother. I believe joe travelled with the juju hounds and recorded a lot of the shows, It’s in an interview somewhere. It would have been good to put some of that stuff together for the 25 anniversary even if only uploaded to you tube, it would be great to see.

Oh, I see! There is some resemblance there (nose/jaw). Plus I see that it would be possible for izzy to gain some weight 😉 Based on his brother.

I'm not sure how Tumblr works lol I usually just browse- otherwise I'd ask her. I've noticed that Izzy seemed to wear a ring on his wedding ring finger pretty much all throughout GNR days. He either liked the look or liked appearing unavailable (?). So it's possible he wasn't married until '95.

I've been puttering around Tumblr and found a cool page  The gal claims she found a marriage license for he and Annecka dated 5/29/95. Other than that there's not much going on, I hope he tweets or does something soon! He always looks so thin that I worry and hope he's well.

Steve seems like a good guy. He didn't deserve to get dissed like he did, especially taking into account how they fired him the first time. I wonder how Izzy feels about them after the tour nonsense.

On a side note, given how uncomfortable he is with the past drug use, stories, etc. I wonder how he feels about the "stradlin" part of his name now that he is older? I would be a bit embarassed by it 🙊

I think this is the interview where he talks about being sober and having really bad night terrors from getting clean. It seems like it was a long crawl from the residual effects, that could be why he looked so bad-almost high. I think the smoking really took a toll on him and has made him really age. 

I think Izzy is getting a bad wrap again (Marc's interview). Marc seemed very bitter and disappointed that Izzy didn't participate in his book. He seemed a little too dramatic, and there's always 2 sides to a story. I think Izzy at first was glad to help him, then Marc started changing things (video, his home, etc.). Izzy might have thought he was being set up for a bait and switch. Plus, who knows what kind of history they have.  

I think the tour stuff has been pretty well explained. Izzy hasn't performed in many years, maybe he has a bit of stage fright? That can develop over the years. I'm sure he's sober, but I was just looking at Taz's IG and that dude is a major drinker. I hope Izzy distances himself from negative influences like that, because sobriety is a life long commitment that has to be maintained. He might be cautious with people because of his past. But there are several interviews on YouTube where he is very open about his past and he sounded relaxed. THere's one of the JuJu hounds in Japan and the podcast of the guy from some online I-tunes type company. Probably depends on how he is approached and the vibe he gets from the interviewer.

I think this fight still needs to happen. It would be hilarious now that they're older. They could put it on pay per view and merchandise the hell out of it. Total money grab, like the reunion tour
