Has a release date for Destruction for Appetite been set? No it isn't a title, just threw it out there. LOL

Fuck the police cover by guns N roses
Then end it by Axl reciting all the statistics in about the police about blacks and compares it with white statistics. Then Axl saying fuck, the numbers. I should have re released One In A Million.

Wouldn't this be the perfect time to finish a new album to release?... ... ... ...

I'm not sure Silkworms would work with the current line-up. Melissa is a terrific singer but what's her towel waving like?
I don't think towel waving is her strong point. She might need to bust out some Suicide Girls type of stuff to distract from the lack of towel waving ability. (yes they toured with GNR at the Chinese Democracy High Point and came out between GNR Songs)

No....the intent of the shirt is to attempt to make fun of Trump while at the same time making light of tens of thousands of people dying. The last part isn't intentional of course, but that's beside the point because that's not how it's going to be perceived.
I think it is more divisive throwing in a political figure as the fan base has a wide range of political beliefs. Maybe he just doesn't care... but trading in portion of your fan base for Hollywood praise is going to hurt sales.

No, if he can't do the long shows well he shouldn't do it. Quality > quantity.
Really the type of vocals Axl has to pull off is extremely hard and voice wrecking. For him to do it for that long is amazing even if not perfect. Basically you would be cool with three songs and a peace out as long as it is quality...

I saw both bands separately. I saw Godsmack two years ago with Shinedown at PNC Arts Center. Godsmack was much better than Shinedown. I saw Halestorm at the Starland Ballroom about 10 years ago. They were awesome!
Godsmack were non stop, pretty spot on live and put on a great hard rock show. Halestorm was pretty cool. She has great vocals which many can't do live. Monster Truck was the opening act they were impressive too. It was at the Resch Center. I'm a fan of Shinedown but admit when I bought their live album, it was less than impressive for the most part, the acoustic part was actually good though. Not a fan of their new music. I don't know if I would want to see them live as a headliner.
Lets bring this back around to Guns N' Roses. I would like to see them live. None of the above bands do the long shows that Guns N' Roses does. Anyone that complains about vocals don't realize it is hard to keep it up for that long.

Exactly! I told my story about the Godsmack/Halestorm concert in a round about way in order not to pick a fight with anyone here and send a message regarding what happens when artists are not issuing statements about cancellations. Tired of arguments whether it's here or on Facebook.
Godsmack/Halestorm was a pretty good concert, seen them last fall. Not to fight with anyone. But never had a concert cancelled on me, I would be pretty upset but reality is things happen.

After years of leaks, it has hit the fan. If something gets released officially, it is ruined because people keep on saying it sounds different or likes a different take and bad audio. It wouldn't be spoiled if it was never released.

I just don't think a surprise release is the way to go. I think they could hook a lot more customers building up some hype.
But a Chinese Democracy level build up is not good either.

He could do it, but he just doesn't prepare. If he started preparing 2 weeks before, or hell, even 1 week before he could sound great. He just doesn't care to though and I'm sure this show will be no different unfortunately.
Usually bands do a couple of warmup shows in small markets before a big one.

Even if he wanted to do a SB halftime show, the NFL isn't interested as I previously stated. The NFL wants pop acts.
Several years back they had The Who. They do some pop acts and icons.

I guess I don't understand the banner question?
And they do have their own forum, it's just that no one cares to pay to post there. Many fans tried at first, but with all things GNR, they never provided enough value, so everyone decided to stop letting GNR rip them off.
Did you obtain the use of likeness?

Couldn't agree more. I was totally stubbed by that.
Actually did they talk about the use of likeness in the banner too? Maybe it is coming down to them having their own forum, that they 100% control. I know that this isn't the wild west that it used to be. The band needs to control their image and material. With every unauthorized distribution of unheard material, it harms the band. That was one of the major issues with Chinese Democracy.
To continue as a band, new material will need to be officially released. Even Motely Crue had to release a song or two to continue their touring. The release of Shadow Of Your Love did this briefly (even though it was old song).

I am surprised you are all acting so surprised. This is exactly how Nugnr operated. The last two nugnr tours were corporate re-brandings if memory serves.

Is it bad that I actually think that “Use Your Appetite For Democracy” is a good tour name?
They just ended NITLT, maybe after reading that there was a light-bulb moment... lol

GNR official facebook said it is the end of the tour. So the next set of shows are just off hand shows or the start of something new?

I actually original typed that, but added not in this life time to it...
New Sixx A.M. music...... with Slash.

No, they just unplugged Ashba's guitar and he thinks Slash's parts are his own and that Slash is buried in the mix. LMAO. Ivan Moody is a better front man than what's his name in Sixx:AM too...
