I think that Chinese Democracy as individual songs are great. However when putting those songs together it is all over the place. I personally like it as I pick the songs that fit my current mood. I really don't think that there is an album that can singularly describe it. Each song has many different elements and some are hidden within the mix. But it takes on artist rather than albums. It is like a combination of Meatloaf, The Beatles, Queen, Buckethead, NIN (Minimally), and others.

Talk about reliving the late 90s... Remember when everyone thought they both were cool... lol.

I wish the reunion was Bucket, Finck and Slash all on guitars. That would be legendary.
There is a lot of ego there. I wouldn't think it would work out too well. Fortus is a top guitarist without a massive ego. Bumblefoot too. The only way it workout personality wise is Slash Fortus and Bumblefoot.

D.J. Ashba killed New GNR. Bumblefoot was actually someone that listened to the fans and was on the very level of Bucket but slightly behind. Ashba turned it to a self-pomotion and really didn't care about the band other than using it as a platform to sell himself no matter how bad he played. The fact is that Bumblefoot and Fortus should have rotated lead during that time. Bumblefoot wanted to create music and be a part of an actively producing band and since Chinese Democracy, Axl wasn't that active on that front. Bumble even came up with the idea to produce a single song that they could tour with and wouldn't have to put out a new album as it was a huge pain for GNR to do. However that never materialized and Bumble eventually left after Tommy was replaced by Duff during the last tour that was Appetite for Democracy.
To be honest, I would love it if BBF was the third guitarist with Slash and Fortus because it added a Album like sound live.

I think that they'll do interviews where they say "We hope to enter the studio" and then nothing will happen. You know, something different.
"We recorded some stuff, but need to get vocals on it."

Maybe some re-recordings of the Chinese Democracy library. Axl laying down some vocals to the other's written songs and boom we have UYI III / Chinese Democracy II.... Way too simple...

This is the closest song to Silkworms out there.
Actually I was thinking on that lines, but not that song. "Smack my B#### Up" is closer to it.

I would agree with that. Anyone that would have it, would not want it circulating for one reason or another.

It sound's like something they did with Rikki Rackman on MTV with Axl on backing vocals from back in the day.
-
To be honest that looks like some of the background videos when they play the songs live. So maybe it is a hint of what is coming.

What a pair. Which makes me wonder whether Richard anything to do with Slash's return, given how much Slash liked his style as a guitarist that he tried to recruit him years back.
Remember that Slash was on the Dead Daises (Richards band at the time) album. Richard is superior to Izzy, but Izzy is an original that helped create some of our favorites.

Appetite for Destruction is currently the #1 Hard Rock Album.

In the song information there is a side note that says F-You W.A. and J.H.
Sounds like something went sideways,

Got a chance to listen to the remasters in my car today . I've got a kenwood deck , Polk audio 6.5 components and Polk audio 6x 9s with an Infiniti 4 channel amp . for a budget set up it sounds pretty good . Anyway i was pleasantly surprised at how well the remastered version of afd came out . I can hear each instrument much clearer and it sounds like it was given steroids .
It's not a new album but at least it's something new
Yes it is clearer. The best part is that you can tell who is singing on it too besides Axl.

This remaster you can actually hear the different voices instead of just Axl's vocals.

The complete one already leaked.
how long is the complete one?

Abruptly ends. So maybe not the whole song.

I haven't heard it, but it is probable that it is a recording from a failed trade along time ago.

You mean Fall To Pieces. Slither was written while VR was looking for a singer
I believe that parts of Slither were written for GNR if I remember correctly. Slash had the riffs to the song in place and Axl rejected it because it was too Appetite for Destruction. Yes the song was finished with/ for Scott.
Changes in the upcoming leg?

How about a reworked Chi Dem era song that has not been released. But probably not. Maybe they could open with YCBM.
