If you were super good at bussing tables at Red Robin, and all of the patrons really wanted you back, but the owner was offering you half of minimum wage even though he was making $480m a year, would you do it for the fans? Or would you be all about the money?
I don't own red robins. If I did, I would make more money. Lots more. Same as the big 3 owning gnr

So it’s ok for Slash, Axl and Duff to do it for the MONEY (with capital letters cause it’s A LOT OF IT), but Izzy should make those 3 even more money and just do it for the fans, man...
It’s a matter of principles and integrity. I’m glad Izzy still has his.
They own gnr. It's their business and job. We go to work mostly for the money. Izzy doesn't own gnr. Does anyone here make the same as the owner of your job? I doubt it

yeah i'll drink that cool aid u axl fernando fan that makes so much sense
make your bandmates richer than yourself for the fans ok that makes sense !
Speaking of making sense, this doesn't at all. I get the cool aid reference but it doesn't work in your sentence. I had a post deleted for criticizing Fernando. I'm just saying I'm disappointed he couldn't play 1 song for us

I'm very disappointed in Izzy. I mean we all love money but come on, do it for the fans who made you able to turn down a gig like this! Steven said he'd do it for free and I believe him.

Finally saw it thanks to a pal. It was awesome. Erin was absolutely smokin! Kinda surprised the new P.C. guns would show it. Glad they did though!

This is such a cluster f, I still can't see it. I ain't signing up for anything to watch it. I mean seriously, this band can't do anything right anymore. Geez, just show the freakin video like every other band in the history of the universe

I get not pissing him off cause it's the only direct line to axl we have but people acting like he hung the moon because he took an hour or so to address our " clueless little world" is annoying . His message was basically was I'm not telling anything but buy our merch

I don't get the whole voice coach thing. He been a professional singer for 30 years! Who's gonna teach him how to use his own voice better than he can do himself? He's just not trying as hard so he can save his voice for the rest of his life like anyone would. He never sounded better in his life than he did fresh of the greyhound. He probably didnt know shit about singing "right" then. Y'all think he forgot? Anyway, the set list will be the exact same except for maybe soyl if were lucky

Notice the tennis shoes so not to slip. Smart move

As a musician though, I do know that you can alter the sounds of recorded things dramatically. And if something is altered, that you haven't heard in over 30 years, it is entirely possible that the person could feel like it isn't them when it isn't them.
Another thing to consider is most guys especially pros can tell you what exact instruments they played a song on. I think Steven would know. I may be wrong but I also don't hear izzys hollowbody guitar at all. Slashs sound doesn't sound like the afd amp either
-
Guys it's not about remembering, it really is a feeling and you know if it's you playing. Might sound stupid to folks who don't play but you know when you hear it
-
I've played guitar, bass and drums for 25 years and believe me when I say that you know without a doubt if it's you or not. Those guys are pros so if he says it's not him I believe it. It's all new!

It's all new. Even axl. And no Izzy. Sad but true
-
Not a dive bomb, just seriously bending a note. Also, anyone else notice axl had a habit of pulling the foam around the mic? I don't think he does it anymore

The 2 thousand dollar box set!

Gnr guys have the weirdest relationships. Stevens brother was filming Steven and slashs son and everybody was happy. If someone had just called my dad greedy and sorry or whatever, I'd have told him to F off
-
Not sure how to do that but it's on YouTube.

I just don't get people thinking Izzy deserved equal share in the loot. He should make a lot for sure but not equal. He never wanted to do anything except send a crappy tape of songs that had great potential. The whole band made the songs great. Example, his bad obsession demo is embarrassing but it's one of my favorite gnr songs.

I don't think the GNR site allows cancellations. I've never purchased anything from there, but that's what it says in its FAQ...
I'll buy the rings from you lol. But seriously, I will

He's lived in California too long. Liberalism is a mental illness

Wasn't money from one in a million supposed to go to some charity? Could be the reason it's gone. That and no balls anymore of course
-
And freakin gene brings it to you with another original member! Imagine axl and Izzy showing up at your door lol

I hate that they went the gene simmons route. Actually his vault is much better if you like him. I'm just disgusted today with gnr. They've forgotten where they came from. And then to not have the balls to add one in a million! Axl used to have a giant set but not so much now

That's so wrong it's funny. They both are. Also never understood why as much as axl seems to love money, why have so many on his payroll? I actually think they could have finished the illusions tour without a rhythm guitar player. You couldn't hear it anyways
