Duff might not have even known this was for TV. I asked Kevin Smith about this last night and he was surprised to hear it aired on TNT, he thought it was just some silly thing he was doing for a friend.

The drawing may be a bit thinner but the attire is definitely supposed to be current Axl. The leather jacket, shirt around the waist. All the bling and the bandanas/dog collars around his ankles. 

It's 100% an idealised version of modern Axl. Just a shame he's blonde. 🤣

You know how you can tell it isn't Axl? It sounds like UYI Axl. He doesn't sound like that on record anymore. Even CD which was recorded ages ago, he doesn't put that nasally wail to his voice anymore. He didn't on Angel Down either. Or the Looney Tunes song.

You can't hear too much detail but you can hear his melody. Words can be written by anyone, an Axl melody is immediately recognizable.

Man, I didn't loathe DJ like the rest of the forum but god...Ashba Water makes me cringe. 

Man I'd love to see this finally. Though as much as I'm happy to get any 2010 show, I wish it was one with a better setlist. No ITW, IRS, Shacklers, ect.

2011 stage rehearsal. Band minus Axl did the full show, pyro and all, according to MSL. On video. 

San Juan 2010 if it's fully out there. 

That's all I know of.

I wonder if the 2011 rehearsal video will surface. It's hardly ever talked about.

I agree wholeheartedly. Sure, it isn't Slash or Duff playing, but Bumble and Tommy weren't bad players and Axl was on goddamn fire that year.

I'd love a soundboard or pro shot from pretty much any show that year, especially Bucharest or one of the London shows.
