So at a show on or around Halloween, don't remember the location, but Duff was cracking jokes in the guys' earpieces (all of them always do). And I guess with it being Halloween, Duff had came up with a Halloween joke and told the guys during their set. The joke is: You know every time you open your mouth to yawn, a ghost puts its dick in your mouth. Lol. And Axl of course with his childish sense of humor thought it was so funny, he decided to share it with the class.

LOL that’s lame but funny. Specially in Axl’s voice... btw, i love his laugh :shrugs: had to say it at some point

You won`t escape it alive, so don`t take life too serious  Maybe you miss your Aquarius soulmate to rely to.

There are many things which modify behavior of person (like intelligence, upbringing, biological factors etc.). Horoscopes are a tool, after all. You know, my Capricorn half is really distrustful when it comes to horoscopes, but Aquarius argues. And he is that imaginative, colorful, rebellious, idealistic little bitch in me I love.

People cope with their baggage different ways. Someone makes exorcism, someone sells old photos... People rely on irrational pretty much, even if they are highly educated, if they are desperate, because there is a lot going on which you can`t rationally grab and solve. If you try, you may end up anxious with ton of unhealthy coping mechanisms.

I don`t think he is insane, just conventional things usually don`t work for our special kid

It makes me all warm and fuzzy when you all express love for “our special kid”. I’ve always thought of him of this person who is like a child crying out loud and just craving so much attention and love.

Slash is on cusp cancer-leo (you made me curious, so I checked it) that`s why he seemed to be many times more shy and sensitive. Still can be theatrical leo.

I am cusp also, so imagine craziness of Aquarius with sheer power and tenaciousness of Capricorn

I somehow got Axl`s tendency towards New-Age when I saw him doing his stuff onstage, just can`t explain it properly. Saw many other top artist, that guy`s rare breed.

I just love he’s an Aquarius :headbang:

BTW, I am enjoying this forum a lot. Almost got hooked on a thread of a while back where Axl answered questions (?)

I wonder if Axl has checked this forum out lately. Especially now that he's got more down time. I know he keeps tabs on things, he's more self-aware than people give him credit for.

I remember at the Buffalo concert during the band intros he made a joke of Dizzy Reed not knowing he could tune a piano half a step. This was in reference to the song Civil War, Dizzy specifically said it was the "bane of my existence." That morning of the gig, the GN'R Central YT account posted a video talking about that. Seems a little too coincidental Axl would mention that at the show specifically the same day a video about that was posted.

He's just like us, surfing Youtube, the internet in general etc. Just wonder if MyGNR has been in there at all lately.

I think he’s on top of everything as well. :smiley-confused2: prolly even stalking our IG accounts LOL

  5. I think we all tend to over analyze just for the fun of it. LOL some do it with malice while others don’t...

i have a friend whose husband was for many years the sound engineer for Pantera. He’s brazilian. So it goes without saying who he knows. They went to the concert in Miami thanks to them. They gave them tickets. I stay away from those conversations when the topic surfaces :smiley-confused2:

I'm not at all into the Astrology thing. I'm Aquarius but I wouldn't dare to label people in those terms because the way people act is basically linked to their education, raising, environment, etc.

Aquarius here as well. We are a unique bunch, to say the least

    Which one? Univision or Telemundo?

Are you introduced to Dexter?.....jeje have fun

    One of the two...

    introduced to Dexter? Who’s Dexter?

  7. Hold on. GNR actually comes to this forum?! Like their members and stuff? This is just great. LOL And they actually interact with the people here?

I’m an a entertainment journalist. I work for a hispanic TV network in the US. And there’s a LOT of drama among hispanic artists, but what I’ve read in this forum in general is on another level LOL it is truly gold.

I’ve always thought of GNR as a very dysfunctional marriage where they all hate each other so much that they can’t actually live without the other. They love each other a little bit too much. If you look back at the original lineup, 3 of them are Aquarius, one Leo and one Aries. Aquarius in general are crazy, manipulative, selfish, etc. Axl is a true Aquarius. Duff is an in between and Steven, well, poor guy actually. Slash being Leo always has to be leader. Aquarius - Leo is a great match: for friendships, relationships, etc. Aries - Aquarius as well, but Aries is not loyal.

I’m into Astrology LOL as you can read... :smiley-confused2:

Fortus is just there. Is good guitarrist, but he always lie about new music and that irritates the hell out of me

I kind of felt sorry for the guy tbh in the Vegas concert. I was pit-rail and I was on his side of the stage. So I had him in front of me all the time and no one really acknowledged him and I was like, ok, this is awkward. I took this photo of him LOL

If he ever really comes back to GN'R then I will be done with this band, period. I am one step away of being done with them, anyway :max:

    Why? :smiley-confused2:

@Gabrielaerojas I think you will not find a lot of support for that guitar player around here. At least for me his existence in GNR must be erased. It was the low point of the Axl's circus in the 2000's....and Axl's circus is the low point of GNR.

I don’t like him either tbh. The guy creeps me out. I’ve never seen an interview with him nor read any interview with him. Did he do something specifically during his tenure at GNR that make people dislike him? Innocent question for I really don’t even know where that guy came from, etc...

That's why I deleted it, but he knows what he is saying and how people will read into it.

I hope it's not how I think it is, Axl spending time recording with DJ ffs

I take it no one likes Ashba around here? :smiley-confused2:

Commenting as a kid who listened to AFD for the first time in 5th grade on a yellow sony sports walkman , saw them in 1993 Reno NV, was there At the Vegas house of blues 01/01/01 and (perhaps a few more) I was fortunate enough to be at the Forum on 11/29. Let me just say the Forum show was every bit as magical and life changing as the first time I heard those guys on the playground 30 years ago. To comment on the "2002 / 2006 / 2010 > 2017 2010 was just seven years ago. Age isn't really an argument for me" business speak for yourself.   When I was in 5th grade I could put down a solid 5:15 mile.  I may have been faster in subsequent years ,but fuck me if I were to race my 5th grade self today. To hold the band to a historical standard is not only ridiculous, it is not something we could possibly hold ourselves to either.   I doubt anyone here is better, faster or stronger than their 1988 self. Yet, somehow these guys are here kicking just as much ass as we remember- even in our mind's eye.  The fact that we get to see Slash Duff and Axl on the same stage playing at the top of their game should make all us fans step back and and humbly say thanks to the guys for putting on a show that made us proud to be fans in the first place and become the hard core fans who stuck with them "through all the fucking shit." It hasn't always been easy to be a GNR fan, but Slash, Duff and Axl have gone out every night and proved, against all odds, to everyone who has shit to say that they were wrong and put on the best rock show on the planet- bar none. We should all be proud, as GNR fans, that they are every bit the ass kicking rock band we all believed they could be and more.  As I stood in crowd I was just stoked to be there and witness them do what they do best: Melting the faces off of a giant crowd.  So thanks guys.  Thanks for proving us right. GNR FTW.

This post right here needs to be framed. Well said, sir, well said.

Haha yes, if you’ve found your way into this forum, expect that to happen a lot more often. We’re a bunch of diehards on here. Sometimes that’s a good thing, and well sometimes...not.

And it took me like an hour to figure out all the acronyms. Swear to God I wrecked my brain with “TB”. :shrugs:

“A picture is worth a thousand words.” And MyGNRForumCSI is on the case to figure out just what those words are. :headbang:

I’m new to the forum and I thought I was being paranoid about the whole over analyzing. Last night I got “hooked” on a thread that started with a video interview of Marc Canter (did I get his name right?). The whole speculating of who did what, the people that surround Axl and the whole Duff is this, and Slash is that, and Izzy is this... Seriously, it is all great material for a reality show. It felt like I was reading the script of a soap opera.
