Saskatoon must have been considered for official release at somepoint hence the pro-shot.

I would take any gig TBH - the Tokyo DVDs aren’t exactly the best representation of the band.

Saskatoon is Just Video for the Video Screen there was no Production Crew There for a Official Release Same with the 1993 Pro-Shot Vancouver and Edmonton Gigs that are out there and Available

I just desperately want to hear more Saskatoon esque shows.

    But on topic,

Don't Cry is really a great performance from this show, I'd only put Don't Cry alternate from Prague and maybe one of the Appetite era performances above it

Saskatoon was brutal Please no more like that.

I was there seen the Gig and the Night before some Person Pummelled me in a bar in Saskatoon it was Hilarious

Yeah, but remember that there were initially only 3-5 shows planned (according to various band members). The public interest and demand is what convinced them to do a full-fledged worldwide tour. There weren't any plans for new music when that whole thing got started, it was just basically Axl, Slash, and Duff saying "Hey, we're friends again, let's give the fans what they've been asking for".

Didn’t buy it, still won’t buy it.

i think there were 4 new songs or versions of songs I hadn’t heard before, so that was cool and I listened to those.

Listened to some of Sound City stuff and it was the best quality which was great.

But I find it totally bizarre that you would go to so much effort and leave things out (eg I think there were a couple of Sound City tunes missing, they had Mystic but only used it as a cassette in the big box, plus other things mentioned in this thread) and instead choose to put on b-sides that are jus a album versions of the songs that are elsewhere in the box set anyway.

So basically seems like an extensive yet incomplete set which is a shame. Plus a whole heap of nonsense that I have no interest in (eg rings and lithos).

Overall had potential but could have been so much better and the final result ends up just reeking of a half arsed effort/cash grab.

also there will be a 50th Ann of AFD Boxset so it might appear there.

if not 50th might be 75th

I would buy that but only for the Blu Ray..  If it was a Live Album from the classic era I would be all over it. Even if it was just a remastered Ritz...

Never a bad option.. In this case I would like to see a Blu Ray with appearances all over the works that show how the excitement of the whole tour.

who cares about the ritz .

whisky a go go , trouadour , cathouse
