Because Zeppelin ripped off half their back catalogue. Doesn't diminish their appeal for me, but I think that's part of the reason they leave a bitter taste in ODS' mouth.

So did every other blues artist. Every blues player, has "ripped" or "borrowed" (or whatever you wanna call it) stuff from other blues players. Zeppeln just made more money off of it, so people get their panties in a twist and call them cons.

Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck had an immense effect on me. Slash made me wanna play, but those 3 guys really made me take it seriously and I learned every lick to every Cream record, the 1st 2 Zepp records and Jeff Becks debut.

dude I was stating a fact. A riff in that song is exactly like a Damageplan song. And there are a lot of great songwriters and player who aren't insanley famous olike Metallica.

A perfect amp for a home player is the Epiphone Valve Jr. Head. It's 5w, $100 and all tube. Pretty straight forward and has a great price. But, you'll need to buy a cab. A 1x12 wouldbe cool. But if you don't wanna buy both, you can get the Epiphone Valve Jr. Combo. It's the same deal. Not sure about the price, but it can't be too bad.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it has to do with releasing albums on 6/6/06, and making everything to do with the devil or sometihng against christianity. While this isn't Satanism, a lot of people think it is. There's notihng wrong with writing dark lyrics, or playing aggressivly, and I realize they do all the things with satan just to be controversial and sell records. Like a gimmick. As far as it goes for me, I really like ESP, Jackson and Fender. I've always been a fan of the Les Paul, but Gibsons don't get enough bottom end for me. That's why I go with ESP; they look similar to Gibson, but get the tone I need. rock1

As for me, I want a White Dean ML....really bad. I played a Dimebag Razorback, and it beat the shit out of the 61 Gibson I'm playing right now, but it was a bit to radical for me, so I'm deciding to take the next step down.

Nothing is wrong with tabbing. Most tabs on the net are so incorrect, it shouldn't even count as stealing said song.

Just for the record though, you'll never get anywhere in playing by looking up tabs. It's better to train your ear and figure it out. just like every guitar master has done. The greats like EVH or Dimebag just learned by playing with records.
