Ain't Going Down (1991 crackly slow mix, i personally hate it and see why it was never released)

Sorry (to knock any energy accidentally built up in the last few songs)
Witchita Line Man
Look at Your Game Girl
Black Hole Sun
Slither
I Feel Good
Mel and Brain CD remix DJ set

*Izzy, Matt, Steven and Buckethead make guest appearance for the bow*

Best axl vocals since mid 2017, sounds more controlled especially on jungle which is usually an awful mess.

The older the vocals the BETTER they will sound because Axl was YOUNGER. The further back they were recorded the better they will sound. Fuck, put unreleased 1988 vocals somewhere if you can, GNR.
I want an authentic album.. a new album recorded as such, don't give me scraps from the trash 20 years ago. new means new to me, i want to see where they are artistically and performance-wise and make my judgement on that.

Annoys me that Brain is on drums.... why can't it be a current line up effort instead of using a 20 year old drum and vocal track? Van Halen made tracks like "She's a woman" sound FRESH by recording it new despite it being a shelved track. Guarantee you the album will be Silkworms, Oh my God, Hardschool and then all the leaks with new guitar and bass

Surely we Can get rid of Frank now Alex is unemployed, imagine the YCBM intro

I don't think it's a complete rerecording, they would Have publicised it as such as a NEW GnR release would have much more mass appeal than an old bside.

GN'R are like my ex, the fantasy is better than reality. My heart wants albums and vocal training, my brain knows they won't change.

"Stay positive" After the super negative comment!
That was the joke lol

We are getting songs written in 1999 with new guitar tracks a couple of these leaks and a couple unleaked tracks, I'm sure. There is no love or integrity by this lineup, Axl lost that after CD flopped like hell, so IF we get anything he will definitely not add any new ideas to it, plus he can't sing for shit these days and I don't want a whole album of autotune like Rock the Rock. I just wish he was honest that he doesn't give a fuck and it's just a job like Pete Townshend. The NITL tour is a soul less cash grab and it is more lucrative than any album will be.

There’s the Pinball Machine version, it’s the best quality version with vocals but it’s instrumental besides the chorus. The only other version is the soundboard live one from the club days.
I used to have the pinball version but its very difficult to find these days on the internet

Hi I am just wondering how many versions of ain't going down are out there? I've got the 2018 appetite box release and I've got the Use Your Illusion out takes version which is probably the best i've heard but it is quite low quality and I suspect the vocals have peen pitched up and song slowed down which sounds strange. I am trying find out the best version with full vocals as I am mixing the AFD Remaster version with vox as a personal project *no download links*

Performing Back off Bitch after 29 years would be crazy. Very unlikely, but I would love it!
Not now GNR are feminists, I think they'd find it sexist, great song though

Here's what needs doing. TUNE DOWN. Axl has never sung his songs in such a high voice until 2011. It's plain weird. Shorten set. Remove high pitch songs and replace with lower ones, keeping a couple of hits. So here's my ideal:
YCBM tuned down
Easy
Brownstone
Dead Horse
Pretty Tied Up
Rocket Queen tuned down shortened
Sweet Child tuned down
Don't Cry
Breakdown
Back off Bitch
Garden
KOHD
November Rain
Jungle
Locomotive.
You're Crazy
Paradise city. End.

In an alternate world, it would have been interesting to see what the reaction to nuGuns would have been after the AC/DC run... I don't think they were about to go on a stadium run, but they could have got a bit of steam. Ah well, I'll take more of the same / slightly lethargic GNR over GNR with DJ Ashba.
I watched the proshot of the 2010 Puerto Rico show. Looked a lot better than anything from 2016-now. Singing, drumming, dare I say guitar work but overall energy. Really wish I saw that tour. NITL was the worst concert I've been too especially since I saw the AXLDC show the year before. I don't think ACDC would have taken Axl if he wasn't already being hyped about being back in old GNR

You would think they would resort to a more random setlist after a while? God only knows I'd do a more UYI style setlist, whatever the band was feeling at the time. Not running through the motions.. that's the least Axl/rock star thing I can think of
The stage lighting, videos and fireworks are all set to a timer and the drummer has to play to a click track to make sure it’s timed right, the stage show is too organised to swap around

The only new music that would be good is stuff with vocals recorded by axl 20 years ago, which could be reworked with the current band, which I would love to hear. I always lol when people say they want “fresh” material from the band. If you want an album full of shit songs like scraped I suppose...
Scraped was obviously deemed better than whatever else he had 20 years ago so I wouldn’t be holding out hope especially considering the quality of the songs leaked which were mostly B side quality
-
I think GNR fans are going to have the worst year since 2011, I remembered feeling disappointed about the crap Axl and lack of love and then they would string us along with “oooh look here’s civil war and estranged”. His voice was actually better at RIR 2011 than the majority of NITL:

Why have GNR forgotten about Manchester? Do the Arena or Etihad for £85 I’m game but I can’t afford ticket prices and travel and accommodation. Nothing will beat AxlDC in 2016 though he has lost the ability to be that amazing

What are the actual chances do you all think there are of them announcing another UK date before Dublin? I don’t fancy London again and the only reason I’m holding off from Dublin atm is incase they announce a date in Glasgow/Manchester or somewhere north
It’s unlikely, I saw them in London 2017. I don’t want to spend those prices at all unless they come to me. The concert after travel and accommodation is the same price as flights to Greece and back with a week in an apartment so I’d rather do a week in Greece on holiday

Good points. But I can't see Levi turning down the extra $ from GNR. But Sturgeon may build a wall
I doubt they'll be cheaper than Aerosmith. Gold Circle will be £150+
Gold circle is a scam for rich people who want to smell Axl’s jock strap
-
Let’s hope they are cheaper than Aerosmith , disgusting prices, why do they never tell you the price before tickets are released so I could actually get some money together? Also rumours of other gigs make it very hard to commit to buying a ticket in case they announce a closer concert.

2023 WORLD TOUR
in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS

If they do Arenas instead of stadiums I might bother, saw them in London 2017 they were good enough, but I've seen other bands in smaller venues who performed much better, The Black Crowes were incredible on the SYMM tour this year.
