Won't happen , Glastonbury & Rock in Rio were streamed as pro shots... that'll be all I think
Previous line up had plenty of pro shots and still got a blu ray. Rock In Rio 2001 / 2006, KROQ Inland Invasion, Rock AM Ring, Download, O2 Arena.

Not sure about toxic but I'd say frustrating. Finck, Bumblefoot, Ashba, Fortus, Tommy, Brain, and Frank were replacing some pretty massive names in Slash, Duff, Gilby / Izzy and Matt / Steven. New music is the only way to prove that they were worthy of replacing those former band members. Until then, they're all just cover musicians. With the supposed three planned albums, they would have plenty of music to show the world. Instead they toured for ten years and released one album (to be fair, they've released more music than the reunion lineup). It'd be even more frustrating to spend so many hours in the studio then in 2022, those songs they worked on are finally released but played by different people.

I just noticed that side one is called G and side two is called R.

Music video is awesome. I like that they included sound check footage of Duff singing the chorus. Turning on the captions has pretty accurate lyrics too.

Have you heard any Elton material in the 21st Century? "The Captain & The Kid" from 2006 as well as "The Union" with Leon Russell in 2010 and "The Diving Board" from 2013 are all great albums and have a lot of heartfelt moments and decent compositions
I also quite liked "Blue & Lonesome" from The Stones in 2016, which granted is an album of blues covers but the performances are great and it is technically a release from them in some form
Captain and The Kid and Wonderful Crazy Night are two great recent albums from Elton.- 1

So to listen to the new single, you have to go to a bar? You can’t make this up.

It's not the band. The record label are the ones behind this...
It might be that the band have no interest and this is being done to meet contractual obligations.
This has happened in the past with previous releases including the Greatest Hits and if you connect the dots, the release and lack of interest from the band would suggest Hard Skool was released under the same circumstances.
That’s a reach. It’s ok to say the management are garbage. There’s always an excuse when it comes to this band. Like how DJ Ashba blamed the crew for not putting the stage up fast enough to justify playing three hours late.- 1

I don’t get this band sometimes. In 2023, how do you promote something so poorly unless it’s intentional?

Sucks that after 20 plus years in the band, Richard still can’t make it onto a shirt. Even when Chris Slade rejoined AC/DC for one tour, he still made it onto merch.

Only in the world of GNR could we be excited for a song we’ve already heard before.

I don't really get the 'wrong band to headline Glastonbury' narrative. I'm assuming its a UK artist exclusive slot?
Anywho, I just checked it out and I was hella impressed. Axl seemed to kick it up a gear in many places, both in vocals and general movements. Its like he knew he was on the world stage and wanted to prove the naysayers wrong, and he certainly did. That "you know that you" at the end of You Could Be Mine was intense. Sure his vocals were occasionally patchy but he was on point for most of the night.
I saw some reviews saying that the crowd seemed dead at times. Thats just crowds in general nowadays. But that Glastonbury crowd really came alive.

And Slash noodling is just on instagram and youtube. When you are there it's just perfect 🤣 It's just Axl that have a voice that no recording equipment can handle 🤦♂️
Who hurt you?

I didn't expect this show to take place. During both the opening acts, the rain came down something fierce. Probably why the stadium looked pretty empty when they took to the stage at 7pm. Luckily it died down just before then.
This was a really really fun show. I didn't expect to say this but after seeing them in 2007, three times in 2014 then again in 2017, this was easily the best one so far. We all know the band are going to be great but whether or not Axl's vocals will hold up is the true test. He gave it his all and absolutely nailed it that night. There were hints of Mickey from the middle onwards as expected. For whatever reason, his stronger vocals don't really translate well when recorded though. Watching a few videos back, you'd think he sang like Mickey the whole night when really he didn't. All I could think while watching them was 'he didn't sound like that during that song... or that one'. I spoke to one guy that had been to a few of the Australia shows and he said the same thing. Don't judge him based on Instagram videos because they don't do his vocals justice and he sounds a lot different in person.
The crowd were in fine form too. Wichita Lineman got a pretty good reaction, as did Whole Lotta Rosie.
If like myself, you've had doubts about his vocals based on videos online, go see them and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

"The General" is officially delayed... but "The General" AND "Monsters" is (unofficially) out of the bag

This band confuses me to no end. If you’re going to endlessly tour and not release anything, at least do a Billy Joel and just say so. 17 songs released since the Illusion albums in 1991…
