Oh yea...Jason Newsted...who the hell does he think he is, QUITTING Metallica? Is there not higher honor than being a bassist for that band? [beside being in Ozzy's band?]
Hey fuckwit, remember who he quit to join? Let's think....ok got it? If not, I'll remind you: OZZY. That was why he left asshole.
Also, metallica have sucked since the black album. Yes that's right I said it: I don't like the black album. At all. It has 3 or 4 quality songs, yes, but it's no Lightning or MOP. Since taht album it's all been downhill. You want an awesome band that has only gone uphill? Metallica's "disgruntled former lead singer" has a band you might want to check out. They are called Megadeth, and what they do to Metallica is the definition of the word pwnage.
He actually left because Metallica wouldn't give him any creative freedom.
And I agree, the black album was where they began to go downhill. They started to play more hard rock, than metal. I very much dislike Load and Re-load, but I don't acutally mine St.anger, If you really actually listen to it, theres some pretty heavy stuff on it.

St. Anger was bad but SKOM was a great track that reminds me of days of Hit The Lights. They just need find Lars's nuts and remember why they started making music in the first place. How can we expect a wannabe cowboy who doesn't give his opinion,a chubby queer art collector, and a guy with an identity crisis ,to make a great album in the vein of Ride The Lightning ? They don't have the passion anymore because they have more money then anyone can spend and people still buy their records even though they suck off a homeless wino
Hey, here's an idea, why don't you go outside and play a game of 'Hide and go fuckyourself!'
Do I detect jealousy, Why else would you like this band, but also put down every member?

I think he means lyrics
Dave didn't write any lyrics for Metallica, he contributed music.
Damn dude, you know shit about these bands don't you.
First off Metallica and Megadeth have ALREADY toured together in '93, second of all
From the Ride The Lightning Album : -
Ride The Lightning (6:36)
(Hetfield, Ulrich, Burton, Mustaine)
The Call of Ktulu (8:52)
(Hetfield, Ulrich, Burton , Mustaine)
From the Kill 'Em All Album:-
The Four Horsemen
( J. Hetfield, L. Ulrich, D. Mustaine)
Jump In The Fire
(J. Hetfield, L. Ulrich, D. Mustaine)
Phantom Lord
(J. Hetfield, L.Ulrich, D. Mustaine)
Metal Miltia
(J.Hetfield, L. Ulrich, D. Mustaine)
Yes it appears Dave didn't contribute any lyrics.
Yea Lemiere you know nothing about either of these bands.
And wasn't some of the riffs from Ride The Lightning - Call Of Ktulu(I think) also used on Master Of Puppets - Leper Massiah

Rocks

But his work on Kill Em All is wonderful.
His work on Kill'em All is re-recorded. Kirk plays re-wrote his own solo's for that album, but they are played in the same scale that mustaine used for them originally.
If you want to hear Mustaines real work ont hat album go buy 'Metallica - Bay Area Thrasher(The Early Days), it's a dodgey Demo recording from a past show.

Great show last night!.......Loudest concert I've ever been to, my ears are still ringing over 12 hours later.
they did a great medely of 'Holy Wars' and 'Mechenix', they play Holy Wars to the first soft part, then it turned into Mechenix, which they played all the way through, when they finished, it turned into the last half of Holy Wars.
-
I did see them Live.....They wern't a bad act either!
I'm that much a fan of them......but any rock live sounds good.
-
-
I did buy "American Idiot" when it first came out.......I don't listen to it anymore, I don't need to, it's fucking everywhere.
I absolutely dispise everything about Greenday now. I'm sick of hearing them everywhere.

Damn -- I came into my world with the intention of posting this!
AC/DC: 46 New Songs And Counting - Apr. 11, 2005
Launch Radio Networks reports: AC/DC leaders Angus and Malcolm Young have been working on the band's new record for quite a while, and now we know why — it might be a double album! Singer Brian Johnson said the Youngs are "ensconced" in a U.K. studio, and that they just keep writing new material. "I think, and I might be speaking out of turn, but I think they're doing a double, with the amount of songs — I've been over a couple of times with the boys and added ideas on 46 tunes we had, and they've been working since then!"
Johnson isn't sure whether the album will come out this year or next, but he did say the band will tour when it comes out.
I'm liking the sound of this!
damn, thats gonna be awesome. long wait tho
highvoltage, have u got the family jewels dvd, came out yesterday, lol
$40 but its got lots of stuff on it, good so far, only watched a bit
Well -- I went shopping for it, and found some places selling it for $38. I thought I could get it cheaper, so I kept looking and they're selling it at Target for $26 -- but they don't get it till Thursday.
So I decided to wait till Thursday and get it for $12 cheaper.
...And you call Yourself a fan.
Tight arse!
