Amazing song off an Amazing album!

I now have Vols. 1-3, 5, and 6. These are all superior to the other live cd I have Before the Flood. In this he just doesn't sound like Dylan.

His song writing is amazing and his peace efforts were amirable. I love th eguy, but there are also a number of things that piss me off about him. He wasn't perfect, he treated Cynthia and Julian so bad, even accusing her of adultery when he divorced her!

Also I have been reading in a magazine article recently about how there seems to be a donation from him to the IRA.

may7be parkinson hes a safe bet id prefer him on jonathon ross casue he asks the awkward questions and i dont think axl would do it but parky plays it safe

Jonathan Ross would be awesome! Though I don't know what Axl's reaction would be to Ross's questions and sometimes he takes the piss out of guests.

Yeah, I got tickets to see him in Sheffield. Saw him last year and he was awesome, and that was before the release of Modern Times. I can't wait to see him perform some of the new stuff.

Apparently the shows are selling really well, due to the success of Modern Times

This is an amazing album, but not their best imo. Many bands must certainly be jealous that this is an album of b-sides, and its better than other bands proper albums.

I heard he is performing in Japan soon. The "Meet and Greet" tickets were £1777 and the normal ticket prices were £856. Thats a tad pricey

I would be really annoyed at Axl, as he originally said back in Feb it would definitely be out this year, and has still been saying it will be. I'm trying to think of a viable excuse he could use if it doesn't

Some of you guys have got to stop trying to think of excuses for Axl. He's long run out of excuses by this point, if he doesn't deliver, it'll be nobody's fault but his own.

Yeah, I agree with you. I meant that it is totally his fault if it doesn't come out, and I was just thinking of what bullshit excuse he would come up with when it doesn't.

Just got it. I expected it to be quite bad. But honestly I absolutely love it! Really good album with very interesting takes on some songs that in my opinion are even better than the originals.

Has anybody seen Charleen Spitterri (sp?), singer from Texas sing it. She did it at a Lennon tribute a few years ago, and I thought she handled it very well.

My guess is that he sang something Beatle related, hence the drumkit saying the Fab Four, and the union jack flag, and Beatle outlines over it
