I love GnR and I love the band right now. If Steven and Izzy were back in the fold I would be more than happy. I love fucking the original five. But they are not back . So whats the point of bashing this lineup? We got Steven. Maybe we will even got an Izzy appearance. I can live with that.
tip for you man.... we don't need to be barbarians here. We can be polite to eachother.

They are what 8--10 shows into the (after 23 or so years) and it's supposed to be 1993 again? WTF
Yes! This is what we will get when we see them too, but they got so much more! I want more and I want it now. But I do admit that I am more than pleased that they are back and also playing songs like Coma and DTJ, I had given up hope. I love all this but if I didn't want more I would not follow every single move this band does. I could follow guns on facebook and watch some youtube clips. But I'm not here for that.

Can't believe people are bitching about set list. It's brand new for each city as far as those fans are concerned. JFC
This is supposed be the most dangerous band in the world, but they play it safe all the time. They got more to give so they should, they used to take more risks with the setlist and should still. A fan that is satisfied and don't want more, is a weird fan. Normal people are satisfied, guns n roses should learn something if/when they visit this place. If I was able to decide their setlists it would the best tour ever, they should hire us because we are the ones that knows, the best fans in the world.

Still not that cool. Not what true rck n' roll is about.
What concerts have you been to? I think these are standard prices even here in sweden, but maybe I remember wrong.

I think argentina 1993 probably has the best performances

The Late Show songs are awesome, no doubt. Probably the best UTLH bootleg out there.
Technically, probably this:
But, when I think 'best GNR performances', this is one of the top songs:
That Perfect crime is one of the worst performances of that era in my opinion. His voice is just gargling and totally cracked.

Compare clips of Frank Ferrer playing My Michelle and Outta get me with Steven Adler last night. Adler plays both songs way better.
-
What I've heard of this show so far is by far the best Axl performance this year. Fantastic.

whos on drums right now
Frank Ferrer. I just woke up and saw a snapchat video from Guns n roses in which Axl said "And on drums Steven Adler" or something. Never got out of bed that fast before.

Someone has to bring a sign withe the text "please play ****** (insert one of the alternatives on the setlist we have seen)". I think they might agree to play it! I'm most curious of Slither. Perfect crime and Think about you would be lovely.

Great solos by Slash! Very good night for Slash.

This is not an off night! The last couple of concerts didn't sound better. Not on my periscope links at least. Sounds great.

What's happening my friends. You can all probably see this right now at home but I'm confirming live that Axl isn't sounding good. I hope he apologizes after the show for having strep throat or something. Upset that I didn't make Detroit for a better voice and of course Russ's party.
You should see it online instead then, sounds good on periscope!

Double talkin' jive is the coolest song on the setlist, love that they play it again.

Consider this. In the era prior to this lineup, it was no guarantee it would even be played live when you went to a show. When I saw them in KC in '11 and '12, they didn't play it. And those were 30+ song sets (granted, with a ton of CD songs). But when was the last time they didn't play Jungle, Brownstone, PC, NR, SCOM, LALD, Knockin or RQ? I think Stinsonmade out the setlist then, so maybe he just didn't like it. But it wasn't considered one of the "untouchables"...
I don't think it was the right song for the new band and style Axl wanted to play. Axl maybe underrated it at that point but not the fans and everybody else. It is still in top 10 most played guns songs and more played than You could be mine, Nighrain and Patiece on spotify. Underrated is something else, Civil war is not underrated.
-
No it's not underrated, it's one of the most played guns songs and most talked about. And when I used to listen to the rock radio station here in sweden it was the most played song. How can it be underrated?

Axl is not there, I think he was there with ac/dc on every soundcheck. That shows how important gnr is to him.
We do not know what he is up to. Maybe he is there, but saving his voice or checking the sound. Maybe he is taking a vacation after the AC/DC gigs and mentally prepares for the tour. How much gnr means to him is something only he knows, and probably it means the world to him.

got this feeling they gonna play something different tonight .... maybe dog eat dog ..... live wire ... my god...
bad boy boogie .... jailbreak ,,
i think dog eat dog ...
I hope you're right! I have a feeling they will bring in Chris Pitman as a guest and the next concert he will be a new official member of the band. I have a feeling that Pitman will share solos 50/50 with Angus and the next album will be ballads industrial hiphop stuff. Something like what happened to gnr

Hopefully Axl will have new opinions now after the AC/DC gigs and go back to the raw sound without Melissa Reese and Frank Ferrer and bring back Steven Adler. One can hope for Izzy Stradlin as well. Steven sounds fantastic everytime he plays, Axl should take a listen and compare Steven and Frank. I'm team Steven all the way! (Not just for nostalgia).
If they refuse to have Steven Adler in the band they should ask Robban Eriksson from The Hellacopters he has the same kind of rawness in his drumming as Steven Adler.

Where can I hear Touch too much?

Stupid question. Guns n' Roses withput a doubt. But not CD era as you added inthe question, if the CD era stuff matches the stuff they write together now then that is great. We have Slash, Axl and Duff back together. We have been waiting on this almost our entire lives some of us. Would love an AC/DC album as well.

Nice that they play Catcher in the rye, always nice to hear something different. I think Axl sang it really well but Slash messed up big time.
