Cool! It will be great. I've just heard the first two albums though.
Good. Stop there. That will leave the best impression of the Crowes. The other ones aren't worth it.
Fuck that, the Crowes are fuckin great!

Anyone heard Nikki Sixx's new project Sixx AM?
I don't think he sings, but he's the frontman obviously like he was for Crue.
Their first record came along with Nikki's book The Heroin Diaries. Most of the songs [if not all] are written out of stuff from his book. I dig the record. The music is eh. I guess it can be called heavy metal but it's not what I thought it would be.
The lyrics are beautiful. Just another reason why Nikki Sixx is one of my favorite lyricists.
edit: Forgot to ask what I made the thread to do..how did you like it?
It's fantastic! Everything that I hoped it would be and more. It's incredibly depressing, but yet uplifting and hopeful. It takes you through the full range of emotions. I've had it since the day it came out and still get goosebumps on the spoken word section of "Girl With Golden Eyes". It's simply brilliant!

Three Snakes is real cool, it's a little different...Chris Robinson describes it as Sunday Morning compared to SHAMC being Saturday night. The live album was recorded in 2001, right before their extended hiatus. The Lost Crowes set is great also, a bunch of stuff that was recorded in the 90's and not released til last year...there are some b-sides that are as good as anything on any album, especially Darling Of The Underground Press and a killer cover of Dylan's When The Night Comes Falling From The Sky...dig it. Plus they allow live recording, and there's a treasure trove of live stuff available for trade.
Lol yeah man its cool, all I want now is Three Snakes and One Charm. I downloaded 'Twice as Hard' lastnite the live version off the live album. What year was that played?duff21
Please tell me you already have The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion...and if you do, then go get By Your Side next. You won't be sorry, I promise.Oooops, just read the first post, never mind
Hey man, I brought Amorica last night. I listened to it all day at school, its simply amazing. She gave good Sunflower, P.25 London and High Head Blues are my favourites at this stage. Wiser Time is nothing short of magic.Hopefully they come out to Australia next year and I cant wait to hear there new album.duff21
Yes, but that's what I loved about that night. They change the setlist every night, and don't cater to casual "hits only" fans. For a long time follower like me it was heaven to hear some songs that a less adventurous band would not put in their set in place of their well known hits. AND we got new material that night! Tough Mama and Song Of Love, it's a night I'll never forget, I can't, I got it on cd. :xmasssanta:Geez, they have left a great deal of there well known songs out.duff21
You will enjoy it, take an open mind, no telling what songs they'll play...or not play.Guess who's going to see them Oct 3??? Me that's who!!!!!! This is one of my 3 dream bands to see. The other two being The doors and of course original gnr. So this is probably the 1 that I'll get to see. But hey batting .333 isn't too shabby. It gets you into Hall of FameThere is no way I couldn't enjoy it! I dig everything that they do. I didn't know that they allowed live recording though. Video too or just the audio? I would love to get myself a homemade bootleg.

I was just wondering if it had because most albums leak a week or 2 before they debut.
