To answer to this topic.......it's a good question..... Nice to see something different on the forums these days......umm.....to me. I don't exactly know. I look for music I can relate too...... Guns N' Roses that is / became......the lyrics.....the attitude......the reallness.... and yes....also Axl's way of dealing with all kinds of situations in... concerts..(thats the only thing I 'see' perhaps).... I can totally relate to that...how he's reacting.....to me as a person it makes sense....

It's more like a "click". A discovery of an real rock and roll icon.....no play... Does that make sense?

It all starts with 'finding' music a band you can relate too... It matches my personality perhaps a bit.... I have a temper.... I tell people what it is......etc etc...... Can it get people molded? I dunno..... You can't get behaviour out of a person if it isn't already there......

plus it´s very suspicious that it´s less than a week for this concert and NOBODY even knows the hour they are playing.

It pisses me off when everytime a DVD or video is mentioned everyone n' their mom's asks for a pro shot. It'll never happen. We've only got 14 or so Pro shots total from 1986 to 2006. The only time you'll get one is if it's STOLEN from the film crew or a whole show is shown on TV...

I love the song, and it's far and away my favorite of the leaked tracks, but just like Madagascar, I don't think this song works very well at a live show.

Songs like The Blues and November Rain are fine because they retain a very nice pop edge, but TWAT and Madagascar are much more experimental and just don't seem to go over as well in live settings.

you totally mis the hook dude. You know why there is relatively 'low' audience response on the new songs? The album ain't out yet! Once people are formiliar with the new songs, you know: sinked in. The response will be much better! Mark my words!

it's not like he was standing right in front of it the entire show, reading the lyrics off in a monotone, occasonally swaying or swinging his arms, and putting the emphasis on the wrong syllable.

I think a better idea would be to put little messages for axl on there. like:

"you're doing a great job"

"Nets 42 - Heat 47"

you're in NEW YORK"

"his name is Ron THAL"

stuff like that might help him out more than 20 year old lyrics he should be able to recite in his sleep.

The helium voice is back. Better sounds pretty terrible IMO.

It wasn't that bad. But you could hear he was obviously having vocal difficulties bursting out the notes the 14th. The helium voice isn't realy back tho? He sounds shot yes. I realy hope everything goes fine this upcoming night. The Blues sounded nicely!

The rasp IS...... REALY... BACK. He has more power now behind his voice as well. Even when he sings with the cleaner voice.....as on The Blues.....etc you can still hear there is much much MUCH more power behind it then in 2002. He is in TOP form. He fully controlls his voice, kickass
