Amazing.

I went to one of the shows back in February at a little place called Leo's Bar & Grill in a Chicago suburb. Unfortunately, I didn't get to stay long enough to see them play with Harry on stage, but I did get to see the band perform a little bit and Dizzy was singing, too. From what I saw, they were pretty good, but I didn't actually get to hear any GN'R songs. I did speak with Dizzy for a little bit before he went onstage and took a couple of pictures with him, and he seemed really down to earth. & Harry is a really cool guy too! He was really funny, and a pretty nice guy.

Wow, this actually makes me really happy. That's really cool that they talked after such a long time. It's cool to see that they might actually be on "good terms" now & maybe it'll lead to something more.
-
I'm surprised only one other person said this, but yes SILVERTIDE!!
Audioslave would be cool too.
-
Haha, tryinharder....where have you been these past few days?
Hmm. U.S. Tour in summer, anyone?

I heard I.R.S. today on 97.9 The Loop in Chicago.
They also said that CD was finally slated for relase in March. I'm sure they got that from all the rumours, though.
-
I'm not gonna deny it, that would be pretty awesome
But I just don't know.

I finally got my hands on TWAT about an hour ago. I love it.
I'm really impressed with all the leaked songs so far. I really didn't know what to expect, but I like them.
-
Um, I definitely think some people are overanalyzing this. Doesn't Dizzy have shows with Happenin' Harry/Hookers and Blow all the time? I'm actually going to one this Thursday, the 23rd. My friend's band, Orion 9, is opening up for them at Leo's Bar and Grill in Romeoville, IL.
-
I also e-mailed it to a radio station. I sent it to Crazy Ray and Johnny Brandmeir at the 97.9 The Loop on the night that the song was first leaked. This was before Merck requested all the links to be taken down, though. Crazy Ray played it on the air at about 1:15 am, and also mentioned my name. I guess it caused a small buzz, people were e-mailing him and calling him about it. But it was the middle of the night, so obviously I'm sure not many people heard it. I'm not sure if they've still been playing after that, though.

It finally finished downloading, and I'll say that I'm impressed.
Cool song, & I like the solo. Even if this song isn't on it, this album will be big, no doubt.
-
Wow, all I can say is that this is pretty damn exciting.
So much stuff is happening all at once.
Unfortunately, I have dial-up, and I'm still downloading the song right now. Ugh, I need to here it right now!!

This has got to be some of the best news in a long time! What a great week for GN'R fans. He did well choosing his words, this makes me him look like the good guy for once.
-
Wow, I can't believe we finally have new Axl pictures.
I personally like the beard. He looks so much better than he did in 02/03.
I hope there's more to come!

& finally, I'll leave you with the final list.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Yeah, it is. It's a big radio station in Chicago...almost 30 years old.
I'll post the results whenever they're announced.

The Chicago area radio station the Loop is gonna have a countdown of the Top Ten Greatest Albums of All TIme. So if anyone's intersted, feel free to vote, and maybe GN'R will be up there.
We'll total your votes and play random cuts from the Top 100 starting at 5pm this Friday (12/30) through New Years Eve up to 12midnight. And we'll highlight the Top 100 albums again throughout New Years Day. As of today, 724 albums have gotten anywhere from 1 to nearly 1000 votes. But there's still time for you to chime in.

AFD Air Fresheners
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Haha, I have one! I don't like the smell though so I aired it out first.
I saw a GN'R lightswitch plate at a Hot Topic in Florida, haha.
Thanks for the info Axlander.

I was at the local Hot Rags store at the mall the other day and they now have a GN'R Pole Cue and GN'R Playing Cards! I was in shock when I saw them. Both of them were really nice, too. The Pole Cue comes with a little GN'R case of it's own. The playing cards comes in a nice tin container. I want to get them, haha.
Who does all the merchandise that's in stores now? I always wondered that...like all the T-shirts and posters...who does that?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I have the playing cards, and I have seen the pool cue. A company named Bravado does GN'R's shit now.
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Oh really? Do the former band members have any say over everything that's made now? Or can this Bravado company make whatever the hell they want?

Wow, I can't belive Axl is on air right now!
This is so awesome!
Unfortunately, I have dial-up and for some reason I can't connect to the live show. I've tried everything, but it just won't work! Damn, I think it's high time I upgrade, huh? Well I'm pretty much relying on the forum right now for everything that's going on on the air, so thanks guys!
