would be very interesting to hear specifically with the less satisfied listeners and their thoughts. Personally intrigued to know what they expected in their minds, that is if they had any to begin with, just curious.

I didn't expect so much effects on Axl's voice. To me it's buried in SFX and it reminds me a bit of the Oh My God era. It was nice and cool in 1999, but not really what I'm looking for in 2023. The main thing for me is that all those songs came out 15-20 years too late.

What are the chances they finally bring back Down On The Farm for this show? It would fit Axl's voice, Duff could call it a 'wacky new setlist', and they're playing on a farm.

Do most headliners usually play 'special' sets? If they just go through the motions of the standard NITL show it will be another easy thing for people to criticize. I hope Axl gets his shit together but we all know WTTJ, NR, etc are gonna get torn to shreds if they're broadcast...

Usually they are pretty classic setlists from what I've seen so far (U2, Coldplay, Muse, Springsteen, etc)

I wonder ..... just wondering guys !! If in some venues they don't hit 10,000 , would they switch it to an arena ? Or could they? In some stadiums, it's not going well. And I don't think tickets will massively take off . I know people buy tickets closer to the date . And especially the day off, but not feeling it on this one .

They definitely can if another smaller venue is available on the same day, but it would be a letdown for sure.

Thing is, as was mentioned in the thread, we dont know if they arent profitable even if venues are 50% filled, and local promoters had no clue about the state of the market for the band apparently...(especially with those prices)

I’m still waiting on Felix to watch my video which was taken 2 mins before ISE (so even more so people in the pisser getting drinks) and tell me exactly where he sees “tons of empty seats”.

In the US people keep on saying prices will drop. We'll see how it goes in Europe. I think they should have tried smaller venues. Oh well.

Paris has more sections released that were previously "sold out"

Haha this tour is something else.

So how are sales going in your area, fellows? 😎

Back seats and in the curves are still heavily available, people here dont wanna spend 150-180 euros on these.

  6. I'm really looking forward price drops on this kind of VIP cash grabs nonsense in Europe. If i see it for Paris i would buy it just for fun. And complimentary wine of course. 😎

Funny for other smaller artists I was able to attend soundcheck, get a pic with the artist, get exclusive signed merch, a front seat at the Paradiso Amsterdam (2 seats balcony, if you know what I'm saying) for around 100$.

Didnt get complimentary wine though. Oh well. 😅

Perhaps the ticket prices are so high that venues only need to be half full to turn a profit?

That is such a good point... Again I take Paris as an example but only 150-180 euros tickets are left (way back or in the curves) and even if they sold only half or 60% of the venue it might be enough with some 300-400-500 euros cash grabs here and there.

But anyways, it sells slowly here. Why? Because i check a bunch of spots/seats in the Arena almost everyday and they're not gone almost one week in...

  8. Golden Circle was already there in 2017. Basically they divide the pit in 2 parts : one is closer to the stage and more expensive (GC) and the other is behind (GA). In GA you wont be able to get in the GC area (barriers) so you'll always be behind and far away from the stage if you're in GA.

  9. They were only once at the Stade and it was in 2017, at the beginning of the never-ending tour. Afterwards it was in festivals only (Download Paris 2018, Hellfest 2022) except for another (smaller) stadium in Bordeaux in 2018. Filling the Defense Arena is going to be a challenge, but lets see ...
